I was scheduled for a c/s May 5th. I was hoping my water would break beforehand so I could labor a bit but no such luck. We went into the hospital and the c/s went as planned (or so we thought) June was born at 8:13am weighing 9lbs 6oz and 20 3/4in long. I was nursing June when I started feeling a really bad pain on my side. The nurse came in and I remember them calling for my doctor and having a very painful U/S.The next 48 hours were a big blur. What I've learned is I had 2 hemorrhages from 2 different arteries in my uterus. I had to have 20+ blood transfusions, a hysterectomy, and have missed many firsts with DD2. The doctor thinks I'm getting out of the woods but still have a long way to go. DD2 was released from the hospital yesterday and went home without me

. I'm finally out of the critical care unit and on the mother baby floor which is awesome! I haven't had anything to eat since Wed which is starting to take it's toll! Feeding and breathing tubes were taken out on Friday so I'm making progress. We love our baby girl and can't wait for me to get better!

Been married since 2009.
