Well there goes my day!

Can not say I'm shocked by any top teners.

I did expect to see Aria jump higher than that although 2016 data may reflect that more.

Im stoked that 2 of my 3 kids names dropped even more in declining usage!

Both of our top names made big jumps this year. Leona went up about 50 spots and Tobias jumped up fucking 100 spots.

I'm over here surprised that Ophelia sneaked in the top 1,000. At #975. this year it will probably get more popular thanks to that damn lumineers song >:(

While I knew Harper was going to move up, I am a bit sad to see it in the top 10. Hope baby girls doesn't mind being one of several Harpers in her class.

Woo, my son's name dropped by 35. I'm surprised Noah is still #1 but the girl names are not surprising at all.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Traeh is the next name to make an entrance in the Top 1000 in the upcoming years, following in Nevaeh's footsteps.

I'd never heard this name before and then three of my Facebook friends named their babies Thea. It's beautiful!

All my kids names went up a little, but Everett's name has gone up over 100 spots in the past 5 years

Not my LO name but Oliver was hardly top 100 6 years ago! Now it's number 19! That is the name I hear everywhere right now. Jumped 13 spots from last year. Weirdly, my top choice for girl name jumped 200 spots?! But it still only sits in the 800 range. Shocked by the jump because I haven't heard it used ever. LOL

My daughter was born in 2015. Her name went down by 1 spot lol. It's 96 now.

Sadly my other favorite girl name went up like 30 spots. Went from the 200s to the 100s. Hoping it doesn't break top 100!

ETA: I just realized one of my top boy names, Theodore, broke the top 100.

And Elliott is still on the rise too.
