@ButterMyBiscuit haha it could have totally been directed at me alone, but who cares! Its the internet! All of us can feel like the redheaded stepchild for a minute, then its time for us to don our big girl panties and get back on the horse. Our BMB does a great job of reminding each other whats important and I love that.
The zoo lasted 4.5 hours. Anyone who has been to the Omaha zoo knows how giant it is. I've been to the Atlanta and New Orleans zoos as well and I feel like this one is the largest, no idea if that's actually true or just pregnancy back pain talking.
I I made it the whole way without the stupid wheelchair. I regret that decision now but I survived and hubs can suck it. Also, if MiL tells me not to lift something one more time I may lose my freaking mind. My kid likes to be lifted up to see things cuz he's short and I happen to be able to do that. Back off.
@Sgoldberg247 I think those of us on the edge of June/ July prefer July solidly lately because of all of the "hilarious snarky threads"- SO boring, not remotely cute or funny, and just a huge waste of space. Is there so little content that people have to make pretend threads to create snark? That's not really how snark works... Maybe save the snark and flames for the drive-bys and OWTs who deserve it instead of being super polite to the threads who've legitly caught the stupid.
In the spirit of poop posts, I just have to randomly say please, please, please, for the love of your body, take the stool softeners they offer you at the hospital after you give birth, and have some (doctor approved) at home to take consistently when you get home. Constipation after vaginal childbirth and even just a few stitches results in the most awful, painful poop of your life several days later. Just trust me on that one.
I am not even going to pretend to be able to get a suitable substitute right now. Instead I will save myself until we're in Maryland on Friday and Utz OUT.
ETA: OMG I need to know if crab chips are gluten free stat.
You guys, I am turning into a motherfucking unicorn. In the middle of my forehead I have a white hair that is spiralizing out of my head. I hope I start popping rainbows!
@ButterMyBiscuit My kid is all over that shit! She sometimes calls her cousin pizza Steve, to annoy him (apparently being called anything other than your name is bad, but at 4 being referred to as food is unacceptable). Have you seen the Aunt Grandma episode?

Stuck in the box
Muhahaha! I've only seen them here and there. I must look for it!
I didn't even realize Utz were a regional thing. Maybe I should have realized because I pass the Utz mansion down the shore every year. I'd kill for a whole bag of Utz chips right now.
I don't think a bag of chips is part of my new GD friendly diet...
I know about Utz pretzels, but not chips. @pandaferh I only did 3.5 hours at the zoo today because DD needed to go home for a nap. We sat for about 45 minutes for lunch/the dolphin show. I'll be honest, I carry her minimally lately unless we're in a hurry or she really needs help. I figure she better get used to it now. I still had some lower back pain, but nothing terrible. I'm only 27 weeks though. I haven't done Omaha, but I have done San Diego before and it is ridiculous, tons of hills and dead ends. There is no logical or non-exhausting way to tour it.
I feel like I'm more nervous about something going wrong now in the 3rd tri then I ever was in the first and I have no idea why. I know it's my anxiety just working overtime but it's still annoying and I'm constantly going to dr. Google for everything when I know I shouldn't. Like today I had another doctors appointment and his heartrate was between 120-130 when normally it's between 140-150 my midwife said it was normal and everything is good but I still spent half the day worried and googling why it could have dropped. I just need to keep reminding myself everything is fine, he's healthy, he's active, just take a deep breath and relax.
I feel like this is anticlimactic now but I came here to say that my belly button had popped half way out. Left side is an outie, ride side is an innie.
You make a new screen name. It's happened to one of our regulars already that I know is still around. But it takes three days to be able to post because of the lurker rule. So, ya know, if you're planning on fucking up,might wanna go ahead and have that on standby... Not that I'd encourage anyone to do such a thing <.< >.>
It's a bit earlier than planned but if anyone is interested in 'alternative' groups, message me. I'm pretty sure that you can add people that aren't on your friends list by email address. Settings are secret and admin can be voted on once we see who's joining.

@theshannondee lots of love for you right now.
I I want all the food.
Also, I had my first real poop in several weeks. I feel so fucking accomplished today.
@blissylissy86 CONGRATULATIONS! Nothing is better than a well deserved poop.
