Ok, here's a question. So I have a friend who wants to throw a shower for me, but she and I think it works well to have it at my home--would any of you object or question that kind of arrangement? I don't want it to look like I'm throwing my own shower, but it's also pragmatic (less expensive than renting a space and my home is more accommodating than friend's apt). thoughts?
@FirePoppy I would totally be on board with my friend hosting a shower for me in my home. I'd probably try to con her into cleaning my house first though, lol!
@FirePoppy I hosted a wedding shower for my friend in her home. Because at the time H and I were sharing a studio apartment in the city and she lived in a sprawling suburban home with a beautiful back yard, and I did not have the coin to rent a facility. As far as I know, I don't think anyone minded! I feel like it was very obvious that I was the hostess (and Myself and another friend did clean before and after)
