I neither like nor hate my job but really just see it as a means to a paycheck. I enjoy helping people, don't get me wrong, but the job itself is meh. I keep it because the shift time and length is perfect for me and only having to deal with 3 other people (coworkers) is an added bonus.
If I had to be honest in job interviews...let's just say I wouldn't get the job. However I think I would feel totally differently if the place I work had completely different policy, administration, and workplace culture. So yeah, basically if it was just a totally different thing entirely.
My cousin just called. He's engaged. My mom texted me ahead of time and told me to act thrilled. He's a good kid, but he's 28, lives at home (literally has never left, ever) and has been on-and-off with this girl for a year. He kind of wanders through life, jumping from one minimum wage job to the next. Apparently the gf comes from mega money so already has her own house. Is it horrible that the only question I REALLY REALLY want to ask, is "when is she due?"
@RainMira9e@coffee89 It is really hard to stay mad at that. Yeah, it's kind of funny, but my concern (other than my wishes being disregarded) is more what if she sang that at school? How many pre-K teachers are going to get the ODB reference and NOT think her parents are sexual deviants? She knows not to sing it now though so I'm over it...
Re: Weekly randoms (4/25)
