Lightening bolt crotch is normal. As my baby gets bigger I feel more pressure too. I checked with my midwife. She said both are normal. Best to check with your dr. I keep a list of questions on my phone to ask at my appt. Luckily I have not had to call the nurse line but don't hesitate to do that if needed. Feel better!
Seriously, though, if it seems extreme or worrisome, ask your doctor. I have had plenty of lightning crotch and pressure down on my vag, but the best thing for you if you are really wanting to make sure that it's normal pregnancy stuff is to talk to your health care provider.

It sounds like you're having "cervical punches" (at least, that's what I call them). I've been having them since about 25 weeks, and increased pelvic pressure since about 29 weeks. Asking your doctor is not a bad idea at all, just to be sure. But if it's what I'm going through, too, it's definitely normal as the baby is starting to drop lower into position.

OP, I hope you're okay! I second the suggestion to call your doctor and rest too!
