My dd was born at 32 weeks. Her edd was 1/16/2016. She was born on 11/21/15. She stayed in the NICU for almost 7 weeks. During that time she developed two hemagiomas on her face. She has a small strawberry on her cheek and a vascular one on her nose. Before she was discharged from the NICU she was started on a medication called propranol. After a few doses we saw so much improvement. Just wanted to share the progress after a few months of the medication. We were told her strawberry would go away on its on by the time She reached school age.

I had a big one on the top of my head, it faded by the time I was like 2 and a half. It didn't even affect any hair growth.

I actually still have my small one on my forehead. It has faded throughout the years. So even if her beautiful strawberry doesn't go all the way away, it's something that makes her unique.
