I really enjoy your board but statements like hers make it pretty unwelcoming to those of use who use both. I wasn't mean or unkind but did let her know I saw it and thought it was rather unfair to generalize a board like that. No harm no foul but if you prefer I will stay away.

We don't take to well to random nonsense, we like to keep our board organized and we will absolutely call you out on any bigotry, prejudice, ignorance and general stupidity... but if you're in trouble or need legit support we're there in a second and pour it on pretty thick... it's prolly not for everyone but we're thick as thieves over in July...

July may not, but others have. She never once said anything calling anyone out specifically, just that y'all have threads that go to 11 wayyyyyyyyy too fast, over silly things. I wouldn't know, I lurk for birth announcements to see who's popping out babies late and early and whatnot. You've added legit awesome information to our board, but I also don't think it was fair to call her out on the board, you easily could have done that via message. That's how we do in June. And yes, tots are amazing. I might make some for dinner.

@PinkLady2015 @Lindsayleigh1989 @ButterMyBiscuit I was lurking earlier instead of working, and I'm just curious but didn't want to jump in over in your board. Why'd the bling thread get so many eye rolls?

We did one over here waaaay early on and I thought it was fun to see how differently everyone's wedding rings/significant pieces of jewelry were. I did notice a lot of women complaining their H's got their rings wrong or that they wanted something bigger. Was that why?

I like to think we take after the spirit of the TTGP board. We like our organization and think it's not asking too much for new folks to read before they post. Most newbies get defensive quickly and we retaliate. We're just less about rainbows and unicorn farts over there but we really support members who need it.

@ahernandez16 I think it's because we get a lot of users who only post on certain threads for the love tits. We also have a few who like to brag about their money. It gets old fast.

@ahernandez16 I personally didn't participate in it. I think partially because threads like that seem to be all about comparison such as weight gain/weight loss threads. Some women may have huge rocks and love them
and some small and love them. However i personally while I love my ring think threads like that can cause some women to feel badly about what they have or don't have. Another facet is that some women may not be married or engaged and it can come off as unwelcoming in that regard too.

That doesn't mean the intention was right or wrong. I can't speak for everyone but that is my take on it at least

The other reason some people may not get as much "welcoming support " is we have a lot of moms who are going through big scares or difficult pregnancies and birth defects. These new posters will post in hdbd or the bling threads or brag about their nursery items. But sadly will rarely go and support moms in true need yet demand uplifting and immediate positivity for themselves. Our tone is more of give support to get it. 

If someone is in true crisis see our two possible pre term labor scare threads the support was immediate but when people start their own symptom thread just because it clutters the board and the important ones such as the two I just listed get lost in the shuffle.

See, wanting to kill, get rid of, or "accidentally" lose your dog will get you shit on pretty much every BMB that has people who have a soul. Thats BS and really makes me sad. And angry. Was this the same lady who, after many many people (including some ladies here in June) encouraging her to GET TRAINING for her dog, still refused to listen? THAT thread made my blood boil!!
