Doc thought baby has been transverse for the last 3 weeks... find out today that she's just so damn low that doc couldn't feel her head.  Had a sonigram thing to determine her position, and doc says "i don't know if i've ever seen a baby that low at 36 weeks"... "you need to keep clean blankets in your car, cause any more than 10 minutes away from the hospital might be too long!".

(i'm a stm, by first was a week early and labor was "short" for a 1st preg)

My doctor essentially gave me the same speech Monday, but I'm not even 35 weeks until tomorrow. First L&D was preterm (36+2) and super fast. She said Monday while checking for dilation that my cervix is soft and she can feel baby's head on the other side. We are locked and loaded!

Just make sure you're in the hospital parking lot
