Next milestone/appointment? Friday I have an appointment with my OB and then a few weeks after that I have a consult for a cerclage.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I'm just really tired all the time. And foggy. It's really frustrating to be so foggy-headed all the time. Like I'm just not as sharp as I normally am.

Hi all. This is kind of awkward. But I'm back. At least for now.
Last Thursday I had a u/s after losing all my pregnancy symptoms. It showed a 5+1 fetus when mine should've been 5+4 at the latest. Blood draw showed my HCG levels at 2649 which was not the doubling every 96 hours the Drs wanted to see. Saturday we were at 2779. The Dr called Sunday to diagnose a MC. I called to get cytotec on Monday and the Dr insisted on an u/s just in case.
Guess what?! The baby had a HB and a good HB at 123. LO measured exactly 6 weeks, so on target growth for 5 days. The on call Dr just called to apologize and started screaming with excitement about my fetal heart tones.
Honestly, I'm not sure at all what to think. Dr Google is telling me scary things about chromosomal abnormalities in these situations. But, I can say unequivocally that today I am definitely still pregnant. Next appt is on Monday for another ultrasound.
Oh and did I mention that I had a glass of wine to drown my sorrows on Sunday night? I feel like an alcoholic.
@chloe97 Well I'm glad you're back and I hope you're here for the long haul and that baby continues on healthy.
U/S measurements can have quite a bit of variability (I had two ultrasounds a few hours apart on two different machines with two different people and they measured 3 days different), so maybe chalk it up to that?

@chloe97 Oh my goodness!!! I'm so happy you're back and baby is doing well! Add this good news to why my pregnant self is crying... I'm so happy for you! *sob* I'll be thinking so many good, sticky baby thoughts for you on Monday. Also, that glass of wine was completely appropriate given the circumstances. Did I mention how happy for you I am? *hugs*

I have been doing fairly well (I think!) at remaining calm for the past 3 weeks. But now my u/s appt is in an hour and I think I'm going to cry. Who does this have to be so stressful?? H has to stay home with the kids (our 2 + my neice) so I'm on my own.
So I had my check at the RE today & it didn't go as I had expected. No gestational sac seen during the ultrasound. They think it is probably just too early, but I go again on Sunday. I am anxiously awaiting my betas. if they have doubled normally but are <1500 I will stop worrying, but if they are >1500 it is going to be a long few days. Of course if they aren't doubling normally and it's a chemical on it's way out that is always possible too. My lining was nice and thick. He said this can sometimes hide things when it is still really small. I had a feeling I was going to regret getting an US this soon.
@EDK2010 Got a call from the RE's office at 1:30. They normally don't call until after 3...... HCG was over 2000 so they bumped my appointment up to Saturday. Not looking good for ectopic at this point. Trying not to freak out.

I'm so sorry @MrsBinPA, being stuck in limbo sucks. Hopefully the sac was just hiding in your nice thick lining and there'll be something to see on Saturday. Thinking of you.
