Good Morning! I haven't seen this one and it used to be one of my favs on another BMB so I figured I'd start it up this week. It's really simple and helps put a smile on our faces.
I am Thankful to have a supportive Husband. Last night we went out to dinner and the meal didn't sit right so when I got home I laid out DD's PJ's and went and laid down. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 11pm at which point I took a shower and went right back to bed. Anyway, DH took care of the bedtime routine (bath, pjs, teeth brushing, stortytime and prayers) and then let me just sleep. I know to some this may seem basic but I know a lot of DH's that aren't as supportive and so today I am thankful for him.
I'm honestly thankful it's Thursday. This week has flown by, and even though it's been a bit stressful, I'm happy the light is closer. Come on, Friday!
I'm thankful that it is Maundy Thursday today and in Norway this means days off work until Tuesday! I am so exhausted that I've slept and slept and watched a movie.
I'm thankful for my scheduler at work who knows I have my first appointment today and asked me if I wanted the whole day off since we have a low caseload right now. It's been a nice morning!
I'm thankful my first u/s is finally today! I made the appt 4 weeks ago and it has felt like forever waiting! Im a ball of nerves today but hopefully by 4pm I'll be a whole lot calmer.
Edited: I'm thankful to have seen a healthy baby, measuring right on time with a good strong heartbeat (160)
I'm thankful for Netflix, which gets me through the bad bouts of nausea. For carbohydrates, which is all I can stomach right now. For a husband that talks to my belly every night and tells our baby that they better stay put and take as much time as they need in there. For a son that doesn't stop moving from morning until night but gives the sweetest random kisses and smiles at me like the sun rises and sets on my head. For the raise my husband got yesterday which will enable us a better house when we move this summer.
I'm thankful for my mom, she's so awesome and helpful, and my kiddo adores her!
Nothing makes you love your mom more than being a mom yourself! I always loved my mom immensely. And I knew she loved me. But until I had my daughter, I never understood just how much she loves me. It's really humbling to know someone feels about you the way you feel about your kid! The craziest love!
I'm 8 years older than DH. Which means he was 15 when my oldest son was born. He treats my boys so much like his own, people that don't really know us get confused that he had a kid when he was 15. He's never said "oh they aren't mine" or "my wife's kids". They are his 100% in his heart and it makes my pregnant self cry. I love that he loves them and they love him (probably cause they are close in age lol)
I'm thankful for my beautiful little daughter, and her ability to be happy and play in her crib in the mornings because it allowed me to lie in bed and let the nausea run its course for an extra 20 minutes before going to get her today.
@srose109 that made me think of my son this morning who sat there nice and quietly content this morning while I blow dried my hair for work which for him is usually unheard of... lol
I'm thankful for so so much. Being pregnant is a huge one. Having such a helpful and thoughtful bf who talks to the belly every night. I am thankful that he also let's me sleep in and doesn't try to have intelligent conversations with me in the morning. Also thankful for our huge king sized bed lol.
I'm thankful for the amazing friends that we've met in this city who now feel like family. We are all transplants from other provinces/states so it's nice to have a support system through the holidays. We're having an early Easter dinner together tomorrow night.
I'm thankful that DH and I just had 3 lovely days off together to celebrate his birthday! He works nights, so not only did we get 3 full family days together, we also got to sleep in the same bed, at the same time, 3 nights in a row!
On a less mushy note, I'm super thankful for the delicious bread/cheese/breakfast sausage bake thing the cafe we went to for breakfast had - but I'm not thankful it's such a far away cafe because I now feel like I need one everyday!
I'm thankful that I work close to home so I can take a break and curl up on the couch with my kitty for a bit. (Though it is really hard to get up and go back!)
Today I'm thankful that I work from home and also work for our family business. It's such an awesome perk that when I feel like garbage, or something comes up, I have a little bit of leeway!

I'm a day late but I'm thankful that when I get home from work tonight, my husband will be going out with friends. I just want to wrap myself up in a blanket, eat bread, and watch house of cards ALONE.
