MN for Eden

DH and I have reconsidered our decision to veto the name Eden for DD, and it's now at the top of our list (we're open to going to the hospital with 1-2 solid names in mind). However, we can't decide on a MN!

I like Eden Rowan, but I don't know if the repetitive "n" is too much. Thoughts or other suggestions? Last name is Waller.

I do think the N thing is too much. Also Rowen is a strong boy name.

    How about:
    Eden Claire
    Eden Rose
    Eden Margaret
    Eden Grace
    Eden Victoria

  • I don't like the same end sounds. It makes it choppy.

    Eden Rowena
    Eden Clarice
    Eden Isolde
    Eden Gabrielle
    Eden Penelope
    Eden Rachel
    Eden Michelle
    Eden Dolores
    Eden Collette
    Eden Margaret
    Eden Margot
    Eden Frances

  • Thank you! I got the inspiration for Rowan from Rowan Blanchard, the actress on Girl Meets World. I did have the hesitation that it was typically used for a boy, though. My mom actually suggested Eden Grace!
  • Eden Rowan is way too sing-songy, plus I really only think of Rowan as masculine. I think with a name as ethereal as Eden you need a softer middle name to match. Love the suggestion of Eden Claire.

    Also suggesting:

    Eden Pearl
    Eden Louise
    Eden Cecile
    Eden Noelle

  • Since Eden is technically unisex I would not use a masculine middle name so toss Rowan. I like both Eden Claire and Eden Grace

I agree Eden Rowan is too rhymey

    Eden Noelle
    Eden Celeste
    Eden Odette
    Eden Louisa
    Eden Maeve
    Eden Violet
    Eden Charlotte
    Eden Jolie
    Eden Amelia
    Eden Faye
    Eden Helena
    Eden Marlowe
    Eden Colette
    Eden Rosalie
    Eden Annaliese

  • Thank you all for your input and suggestions! I think it's safe to say that Rowan is out: DH was never a fan either, and I neglected to remember that Eden is a unisex name.
  • Eden Rowan hurts the ear. Both are 2 syllables. Both end with vowel+n. They have completely opposite voices as names. Rowan is a boy's name...

There is literally every reason in the world to not do that.

Eden Marie is what came to mind for me. But lots of good suggestions here.

Eden is a great choice that you rarely hear. I love it!  Eden Grace is a lovely combo. I agree that middle name should be a feminine name.

  • I know a little girl named Eden Noelle and I think it flows really nicely.

  • I think a one syllable or three syllable middle name would flow nicely with Eden Waller.  Some of the two syllable names suggested above also sound good with Eden, but I'm not a fan of 3 two-syllable names in a row.
  • I am a fan off alliteration so I vote Eden Elizabeth :)
