Babywearing while pregnant

hey ladies.

For those of you with littles.  Are you going to continue to wear through pregnancy?

I recently put my 10 month old daughter in a back carry for the day while walking. It didn't cause any issues but got me thinking of later in pregnancy I will continue.   I know research says there's not reason you can't just seems like later in pregnancy the waistband could squish baby.   Anyone have prior experience in this?

  • I don't have experience, but you'd either wear the waistband above or below your belly. When I back carry it's usually above anyway so she can see over my shoulders.

  • My Ergo wraps around my hips, so it should have no problem. I'm pretty tall though. I know I'll have to bust it out for double wearing at some point, my son is about 28 lbs so might be upgrading to a toddler Tula or a Kinderpack.
  • Yeah I wear up high to. I looked at w pic of wearing low.  I have never worn that low lol.   I guess as I get further along it will either feel comfortable of not. I can just imagine a baby in there kicking and feeling squished lol.
  • You can always use this as your excuse to buy an onbu #enabler

  • I've heard most people like wearing below the belly, but we'll see!

  • Like @HomeyDontPlayThat my LO is about 28 lbs and we Tula a lot. I'm considering a toddler Tula but I'm waiting to know le bebe's sex in case I need something gender neutral in the future. I carry pretty low just because I have a short torso but I still plan to baby wear with my band below my belly as long as possible. I'm guessing around 5 months.
