As a resident of Florida, I pay a lot of attention to this stuff since it seems that it would probably be more of a thing here to begin with with our huge mosquito population. I probably worry myself a little too much, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm gonna start dousing myself in bug repellent lol. I don't spend a TON of time outside this time of year anyway because of how oppressively hot and humid it is unless I'm swimming.

Same for me. I live in Central Florida, mom lives in South FL. I will NOT be going there. Considering cancelling our Fort Wilderness (Disney campsite) trip in September. We will be in an RV but will be spending lots of time outside. Don't know if that's overly cautious or not.
