What are you looking forward to?

I've already admitted I don't like the newborn stage, and I am not sad about LO getting bigger. This morning she took her bottle by herself. Her freaking self. I was able to eat my own breakfast and intervene before my toddler threw her entire plate on the floor. Thank you rock and play and big fluffy blanket for assisting in this awesome event. What are you looking forward to LO doing on his/her own to give you some free time?

Re: What are you looking forward to?

  • LO being more mobile and sitting up. Watching him grow and explore is awesome

  • I can't wait for LO to actually even take a bottle without a fuss.
  • I can't wait for him to sit up and crawl. He's in this awkward stage were he rolls over the minute you set him down, then screams because he doesn't want to be on his belly. This repeats about a million times a day. Also, he has been very fussy no matter what he's doing. He doesn't want to be on the floor, he doesn't want to be held, seems like nothing makes him happy for too long.
  • I also do not love this newborn stage. Im definitely ready for LO to sit up on her own. My arms and erists ache all the time from carrying her and holding her up!!

  • Crawling. He's been sitting up unassisted for 3 weeks but he's not really interested in toys so he gets bored and flops over. He also rolls both ways and when he's on his stomach he pushes himself forward with his feet. He doesn't like any of the typical toys and mostly wants to be held all day, but he's already 20lbs. I just want him to be mobile so he can play with my toddler.
  • Sitting up!! I will cry out hallelujah the day baby girl can sit on her own.
