I don't mind the symptoms, actually. We spent three years trying for this baby and went to some lengths to make this happen. I like having little reminders that it's still there :-)
I'm with you here! We tried for a while too and spent a lot of money to make this baby happen so I will gladly take ALL THE SYMPTOMS!
I was complaining to a close friend of mine who suffers from severe morning sickness, bordering on hyperemesis, with every pregnancy. I said something self-pitying about feeling rather nauseated and she goes "Ha! DEAL WITH IT!" (this is the sort of friendship we have, hah.)
We also spent years trying and so I'm trying to be very zen about the symptoms offline (I reserve the right to complain here) but I know for a fact I'll be complaining later on.

anyone else getting canker sores? I've had 3 in the past week. Not sure if its a symptom or not, but they are driving me crazy and I never get this many at one time.

I just got one... I guess I didn't think about it being pregnancy related. I'll keep an eye on it to see.
I still have occasional cramps and twinges. AF was due today but no sign of her, so that's helping me breathe a sigh of release as I wait for my third round of betas tomorrow.
Also, TMI Warning - I'm pretty regular, going to the bathroom before and after work. This week, my morning "movement" has been better than normal, but the evening one has been non-existant!! It's a little disconcerting because this has been my routine for years.
It only gets worse. Preggoconstipation is legendary. I couldn't poop at ALL.
Great, now I'm thinking of postpartum poop. that was the worst!
OMG. I cried to my mom while I pooped that poop. It took me longer to push it out than it took to push out my kid.

I have mental trauma relating to those first postpartum poos. Yikes.
FTM here. This scares me. I've heard stories..
Towards the end, talk to your care providers about the appropriateness of taking stool softeners. You will be glad you did.
^ you don't even need to, they load you up in the hospital.
They didn't do that for me at either hospital I gave birth at and I think it's the norm here only if someone has a c/s. Must vary considerably place to place.

I have sore boobs and I am super emotional. As well as a little cramping every now and then. I also had like light pink/ slightly brownish discharge. Is that something I should be totally losing my mind about?
I'm having little pinchy cramps, and I know this sounds weird but they're very warm!! Hot flushes followed by minor nausea, sore boobs, dehydrated and oh my god I'm so tired!!!
This is my second pregnancy the first resulted in a loss and I couldn't be more excited!!

Hi doll, this is normal unless it's bright red. Brown blood is old blood could be from implantation, and old period etc. Bright red blood like if you cut your knew is new blood x

Thank you, love. That helped calm my nerves a little more. I'm just laying around eating salad all day now trying not to freak out ha.
Just poas this afternoon! Retrospectively, I didn't notice anything other than a little fatigue, cramping and sore boobs... and I was an emotional wreck. Anyone have their anxiety affected by these pregnancy hormones? I usually struggle with panic and anxiety, but it seems multiplied! Even before I got the BFP. I hope this is not permanent.
I feel like I have a sharp pain radiating down my back and going behind my thighs. It sucks. I got it last pregnancy but not until I had a big ole belly so I don't know what going on this time. Also, yes to brown discharge and yes to feeling like I'm being pinched from the inside.
I had the stupids one night this week, I'd like to blame the baby! But I'm also having shortness of breath, light heartburn, and I'm feeling all the feels. I was a wreck watching the Downton finale last night.
Omg, the nausea started today (5w2d). I didn't have nausea with my last pregnancy (loss), so even though I know it doesn't mean it's a healthy pregnancy, I'm still grateful to have what feels like a progression in symptoms. Boobs have started hurting a lot, too.
All I could think about on my drive home from work was that I could eat the leftover chicken noodle soup in the fridge... H ate it for lunch. Now he has to get me soup.

Zero symptoms so far other than maybe some cravings and maybe a little crankiness. But that's normal for me and my previous 2 pregnancies/babies. The fatigue is probably coming soon, maybe in another week or two.

@16isourluckynumber I was starting to think I was the only one with zero symptoms. If anything I've noticed I'm a bit more hungry but that's it. Unlike you though this isn't the same as my first. With her I was a bit lightheaded, had sore boobs and was tired almost from day 1. They say pregnancies can vary so I'm trying not to read into it
I'm noticing the fatigue a lot more (4 weeks, 1 day), and smells too. I also have been getting super hungry but then mid way through I am suddenly full. I've also had some pinching type cramps, and almost like a pulling sensation by my belly button... anyone else had that?? This is my first pregnancy, so I don't know if I am just being super sensitive to this stuff or what
My boobs! Ouchy! I've also been having crazy vivid dreams and headaches. Some slight pinchy cramps, too. They feel totally different than AF cramps which are a bit of a relief.
Definitely cramping, but more consistent, less rolling like when you have your period. Constant pressure. Fatigue. I nap with my toddler again. Trying to cut caffeine out, his energy isn't helping. Heartburn. Tums tums tums baby. Nausea I'm really surprised at because it took me weeks longer to get it last time, more like 7 weeks. I'm only 4w2d or so. Boobs aren't tender like last time either, but I'm still nursing my son once a day and I kind of want to poke him in the chops when he gets too grabby. I am SO ready to be done. It feels like my body wants to wean him to focus on the baby.
Oh and holy shit, the emotions are ridic. I can't even watch Toy Story 3 without looking away and sobbing. I know whats about to happen and I can't even.
@mrsmoose5 I'm with you. Coffee had been keeping me regular until today and now I'm I so much pain.
I actually just had a second "episode" of severe pelvic cramping (first one was about a week ago and came with nausea, dizziness and hot flashes). I'm pretty sure it's caused by constipation/gas but it's bad enough that I was doubled over on the couch moaning. I'm going to call my doc tomorrow and request an US to check that the pregnancy is intrauterine because of these episodes and some left sided pinching cramps I've had.
I'm hoping I just have a corpus luteum cyst and am very sensitive to being constipated/gassy when KU as the pain almost disappeared after I managed a small BM. Just took a stool softener and broke out the bag of prunes...hopefully it helps!
Otherwise, I've just been having super sensitive nipples and some bouts of nausea, so pretty par for the course at 5w I think!l
Now I'm bleeding on top of the back ache and cramping...not holding out much hope, sitting here in tears.
Oh girl, thinking about you! FWIW, I had light bleeding and a back ache this am. Called sick into work and went and had blood work done. Maybe your doc can get you in? In the meantime here's some internet hugs your way. Keep us updated!

If you feel this way, please reach out to someone. Anxiety can absolutely be affected, and your doc can help you manage it. Also, let those around you in, so they can help as needed/able. Don't deal with that in silence, because it sucks.
I've been exhausted and queasy like whoa. I nap with the toddler, snack often, sniff essential oils, eat preggo pop drops... I need this to pass, asap! I just want to lay on the couch and not move, and then I feel mostly alright. Ugh, I'm a wimp!
@comealongponds Sending T&Ps your way today. Hope everything turns out alright. @peachykeen17 Hope your test results come back good. Sending T&Ps your way as well.
