Merlin suit question

Question for those of you who have used the Magic Merlin sleep suit. My four month old has been sleeping through the night since we started using the suit around three months. The other day she rolled over (without the suit) for the first time from back to front. Later that day during one of her naps she rolled onto her side in the Merlin suit. I stopped using the suit for fear that she would roll completely over in it. Since we stopped using the suit she has slept horribly and is waking every couple of hours at night. I've been putting her in footed pjs and a halo sleep sack. My question is...did I stop using the suit prematurely or should I just continue without it and things will get better? Thanks for your input and any advice for transitioning out of the suit!

We transitioned out of the Merlin a few weeks ago when it got too hot (southern California is having a bit of a heat wave!) It was a rough few nights for about a week but it's gotten better. We used it to transition out of swaddling in the RnP and now she just sleeps in a sleep sack in the PnP. One thing that really helped is a white noise machine. We have it on ocean sounds but she sleeps SO much better with it. Good luck!

You should stop using it once they can roll over in the suit. If your LO can only roll to the side with it but not completely over then you should be fine.
