Testing: FF says leap year. I'm not going to unless a few days past that. I'm not a fan of testing.
R/R/CS: 10 DPO, cue the cramps! I am pretty sure I've said this before, but I am just a little frustrated (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) that even with great timing there is still only a 20% chance each cycle. When I watch TGSR I just don't get how we as a species routinely procreate.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? I'm not sure who gave it to him, but someone gave my late grandfather a gold bracelet with his name engraved on it while he was a soldier in WWII. I wore it as my "something old" for my wedding, I was really bummed he wasn't there for that.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
@mrsdee15 I'm so with you on the 20% frustration, it is such a low number. I always compare it to rain in the forecast, if I see there is only a 20% chance of rain, I'm like oh it totally won't rain. Whyyy must it be so low.
Ash9614 Good luck. Hopefully good news for you. Also, if you do need medication, get either Crinone or Endometrin if you can. They both at least come with applicators. And even with insurance they're like $100 but both websites offer $50 prescription cards. I just used mine yesterday.
R/R/CS: I really want to wait until Saturday (10 DPO) but I just picked up some FRERs.....*trying to resist*. My temp is climbing back up. Also I've been feeling really hot at night this week which is unusual for me.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? I still have my baby blanket.
Testing: Going to try to hold out for tomorrow (will probably cave and do one later today)
R/R/CS: Just all over the place today. Not sure what is going on with my body. I've been feeling totally out of it and super tired the last few days. Had cramping yesterday evening and woke up to brown spotting this morning that has since stopped. Question - my temp dropped yesterday and went up by .04 today. Does any rise count as a rise or does it have to be over a certain threshold? Do temps really even matter in the TWW? Does the temp just need to stay above the cover line? I'm so confused.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? My grandmother's engagement ring
Testing: BFN so far, thanks cheapo sticks from Amazon
R/R/CS: Trying not to symptom spot. Failing.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? We have a teapot that my partner found in an abandoned temple when he was living in China. It's survived at least since the 19th century, minus the time when my cat knocked it over and I had to superglue it back together. Whoops.
NurseMarie9 Why would you taunt yourself with FRERS? If they're even in my house I have a need to POAS! I hope you're stronger than I am.
Kenya715 The temp just needs to stay above the coverline for the most part but if you have a huge dip near AF time, it's usually not a great sign.
TheJerilu Trying not to symptom spot is terrible. At least you're at a point where symptoms could almost be a thing. I'm a week out from being able to use SS without looking like a total clown.
@ReesaAnne16 sorry to hear you're not feeling well. hope you get better soon!!
@sldp123 sorry to hear about your LP, it's not over till AF shows so maybe you'll get another day out if it (for a longer LP) unfortunately I don't know much about clomid so I will offer you some (((hugs)))
@michmich11 do let us know how you get on with the RE, hopefully you will get some answers
@nwegman7878 that scoth is going to be amazing when you do finally crack it open!
@houseofsetters have you tried holding your nose, closing your mouth and blowing out hard?
Testing Plans: BFNs 10-12DPO. AF should be here tomorrow.
R/R/CS: Wishing it was Friday. This week is dragging!!! I also hope AF shows tomorrow so I can phone the RE and get the plan. Last month was clomid starting on CD2, so if that's what he wants to do again I'll need to start it over the weekend.
GTKY: I have my great Aunt's mother or grandmother's china. It's pretty old. It's ivory & gold. I like it much better than both of my Gradmother's china which I also have. My Mom is obsessed with dishes and refuses to let me part with them.......
@beary67 your internet high five picture made me laugh I love it!
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 22/7
Timing: 0, +1
Testing: next Monday when AF is due
R/R/CS: Not much to say today! Hoping for the weekend to come quickly so that I can be mostly distracted until Monday.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? I haven't had a lot of family stuff passed on to me yet- maybe a plaque with a wedding prayer that my grandma passed on to me when I got married. She always had it hanging in her kitchen. My most valued keepsakes right now though are my two teddybears that I've had since I was a baby. Appropriately named "Bear" and "Blue Bear". I brought those guys with me everywhere and am still sort of attached to them haha
@reesaanne16 so sorry for your loss and sickness! Hugs to you.
***********TW BFP**********
Thank you ladies for the FX yesterday. I took a clear blue digital last night and got my BFP. I'm at work mobile bumping (which is something I'm not great at) so I'll try to get back on at home. I am so grateful for my time here and all of the knowledge I've gained from all of you. I would have been lost during this process without your support. I don't think I'll move on to my BMB just yet, so I'll keep lurking and love titting if that's ok. Looking forward to seeing all of your BFPs! eta: formatting
@houseofsetters When my ear won't unplug I hold a warm damp rag to it for about 10 minutes. It doesn't make it pop, but it does ease the pressure a lot.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 18/2 (estimated)
Timing: -4, -3, -2, -1, 0
Testing: Not until AF is due
R/R/CS: I'm feeling really good today. I'm cautiously optimistic about this cycle but realistically feeling like it will still take more time. I'm still at that take-it-easy stage of TTC. I'm not doing anything but tracking my period and HIO regularly. My periods have always been regular and my doctor saw no need for concern about ovulating, so I'm trying not to borrow trouble until I need to. I'm still just really excited to finally be trying.
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? I have my grandmother's diamond earrings. But the most sentimental oldest thing I own is a teddy bear that my sister made me when I was born. You could squeeze its stomach and a song would play. The batteries have long since been dead (because I would play it ALL the time) but I still can hear the song in my head

I've been hanging out in WTO since I thought I was having an anovulatory cycle.. But now I'm confused. So sorry for joining so late. I'm hoping you'll let me hang out until I know whats going on.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 31 / ?
Timing: depends on O
Testing: So last night DH suggested I tested Saturday morning since we were planning to drink Saturday night. I didn't think I O'd but figured it's not a bad idea. This morning I peed on 2 wondfos (and OPK and HPT) The OPK came back very clear with a line the same as the control line. The HPT also got another line.. just slightly lighter then the control. Freaking out I waited a while an tried another wondfo HPT. This time the line was a little lighter but definitely still there without having to squint like mad. Maybe it's lighter because I had been drinking water?
R/R/CS: basically see above.. really confused. Thinking maybe a bad batch of wondfos? I don't think its normal to get a positive HPT and OPK at the same time.?! Either way I'm going to try a digital either tonight or tomorrow morning (if I can hold out that long).
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? A porcelain elephant my great grandmother gave me to remember her by. It's super cute!
EDIT: spelling gets difficult when you can't concentrate.
Testing: Tested for the 10th time yesterday. We had to put my 15yr old dog to sleep on Tuesday and then Wednesday was my birthday so it would have been a REALLY good time for a BFP. No luck though.
R/R/CS: Booked a Dr appointment for the middle of March (the earliest I could get in with my work schedule). Hoping that I will get to cancel as that would be CD 81! But at least it's booked and I have something to move forward to also it's on St Patricks day so if I get bad news....que the binge drinking! Also decided no more trying this month which means that hopefully the desperate SS and POAS will be done in the next week or so as I will officially be out one way or the other!
GTKY: What's the oldest thing you own? A Teddy Bear from when I was a baby, he still sits on my dresser. DH and I were also given a very nice dining table and china hutch that is probably older than both of us combined!

Yes, I realize the UO is full of people saying they don't like lurkers, but oh well.
@kristah2 yes, if you have a positive hpt, you will also get a positive opk. It doesn't work the other way around. You are pregnant!! When I got my bfp, I also tested on an opk (it was positive) bc I just wanted to try out the theory. Plus I had a whole bag I didn't need since we did ivf. LOL
