Hello! I've been super excited these past few days, for weird reasons. I was wondering if any of you ladies had this same issue when trying to conceive. I was supposed to start the 19th of this month (now the 21st) which will be 31 days tomorrow since last period.. and still nothing but I'm still getting strong cramps as if I'm about to start but they are lessening. Going to buy a test so I'm NOT asking if you think I'm pregnant because there is no way for you to tell! Lol but did anyone else experience these cramps and lateness! Hmmm... ??
Cramps and lateness could happen whether or not you're pregnant. I know you think you're in the clear by stating you're not asking if you're pregnant, but you're obviously angling for a specific kind of answer and you will most likely not get the answer you're hoping for. Wait another 15 minutes until you can get a test. Test in the store bathroom if you're that impatient, but no one here can really help you.

Are you temping? Because the only way to know when you ovulate is to temp and then you'll know when your period is due or "late". If you are not temping then there is no way to know if you are late or not. I get cramps right before my period sometimes. And sometimes I don't. The only way to know if you're pregnant is to test. This is a very roundabout way of asking if you are pregnant. Everyone's symptoms are totally different and even each pregnancy is different so my experience has no bearing on yours. The best/only thing to do is take a test.

Didn't mean to round a bout the only thing I was wondering was if I should buy one or not because I'm about to be 4 days late and usually I'm not that late, and we've been trying. But you definitely are righr, will probably buy one tomorrow thank you for input

I know everyone is different, I'm literally ONLY basically looking for women who have had the same symptoms to see if I'm even in the ballpark or if I should wait, but I am super impatient so my mind is a little clouded and I'm rushing for answers about symptoms and I can't talk to women on Google or something because usually they don't respond because the post is from years back
If you think you may be late then buy one. They are pretty easy to find. Even the dollar store has them.
Andplusalso so I know you have already asked this on the TTGP board and received sound advice such as temping, reading tcoyf, and taking a pregnancy test because that is the only way you will actually know.
If you are late take a test. I had cramps when I wasn't pregnant and I had them when I was so the cramps didn't really make me think I might be pregnant.

Many women have had these symptoms but honestly that has nothing to do with your symptoms. With my loss in November I had cramps before my bfp. With this pregnancy I did not. See how it can be confusing? In this community we try to say it straight. A million women could say yes that they've had those exact symptoms and turned out pregnant but that doesn't mean yours mean that. We don't want you to get your hopes up that you are pregnant and then be let down by a bfn. So we simply say yes it could be a pregnancy symptom but it also could be a period symptom. So the best thing to do is test. And if it's positive then great! But no need for people to get your hopes up and then you be upset if it's a bfn.
With my bfp, I didn't have cramps. Before AF, I get cramps.
Listen to the advice you've been given. Take a test. If AF shows, get a bbt, download Fertility Friend, and learn to chart your temps. It'll keep the crazy symptom spotting at bay because you'll know when you're actually late.
ETA: you can say that you're "literally ONLY basically looking for women who have had the same symptoms" all you want, but that's not how the Internet works. If you post on a public forum, anyone can reply.

Well in that case... I've had cramps and a late period when not pregnant AND I've had cramps and a late period and got a BFP. Unfortunately that means nothing to you and your body, because it's not my body. My response is the same. Especially if you're trying to get pregnant, buy a bunch of cheap tests and keep them handy to pee on whenever you have cramps and a late period. That way you don't have to wait in agony.

The time it took for you to make all these threads and responses, you could have just easily bought a test and got the answer yourself. It would've avoided all these "rude" (yet common sense) responses.
Yes, you should take a test. Go buy one. No one is going to drag you to the store and force you to buy one. This is what grownups do. Just about anything you can think of is a pregnancy symptom. Or an AF symptom. A pregnancy test is definitive, other people's experiences are not.
Some gas stations have them. Or in the two days you've been posting asking internet strangers, you could have ordered some from Amazon. You're making this much more complicated than it has to be.
Every store around me is closed, no Walmart so I can't get a test tonight :-/
REALLY? Every store has been closed since FRIDAY when you last asked this question and got the exact same answers?
My thought was that when I lived in a very rural area, there was a Wal-Mart like 30 minutes away, in every direction. And we frequented said Wal-Marts, because they were our only option. Andplusalso, even if that's the case, the possibility that there are NO STORES around, or open ALL WEEKEND seems pretty slim.
Also, @MegaMegz what exactly were you trying to accomplish with this post? You wanted people to tell you if you should test or not? Isn't that pretty much the same thing as asking if there's a possibility of being pregnant? If you had sex, there's a possibility that you're pregnant. There's the answer you were hoping for. Take a test.
Nope. Cramps and "lateness" are new occurrences, completely unique to you, and never experienced by anyone else since the evolution of overt menstruation. You are truly a pioneer.
If you insist on symptom spotting and skirting the TOU, at least make an effort be mildly clever or entertaining about it.

You really need to create a thread to ask internet strangers whether or not you should buy a pregnancy test? If we all told you not to, would you just blindly follow what we say? Smh.

@MegaMegz - you have already been told and were given advice on TTGP. You're a grown adult, go buy a pregnancy test and pee on it. Nobody here can tell you when to take a test. We can't see inside your uterus nor are we psychics. Also anyone's experience here has NO bearing on yours.
I don't see why you keep making speshul snowflakey threads expecting everyone to tell you you're totes KTFU even though you keep saying that isn't what you're asking (yes it is). Just buy a damn test and you will have your answer.
@MegaMegz same exact thing just happened to me, I got a test and got a BFP!!! so yes, sometimes cramping signal early pregnancy (sometimes) I am now 4 wks and 3 days, to me it seemed like this was the kind of answer you were looking for, and I hope it influences you to buy a test, I think you should. Good luck!!

I mean, that's very nice of you, but also more likely than not giving OP false hope.

Not gonna lie, a small part of me wonders if megamegz and babymamamegs are the same person. Weird that the only positive post was by someone with a username that seems quite similar.
@Sgoldberg247I looked at their post histories because I wondered the same thing, also think both said they had a mc in january (perhaps dif years..) somebody make a sticky note !

Super sorry to disappoint you all, but I really don't appreciate assumptions just because I have the same type of username? I'm trying to be kind to every woman here, and that includes ones with posts that are asking advice that they may ask for 10 times a day. Every woman here deserves to be treated with respect and not told "you've been told this several times" "read the guidelines" "let's make a gif party out of your troubles" "you're doing everything wrong" I could compare a bunch of women on here by their usernames and maybe posts, but I don't because I don't feel the need in digging in to all of your histories. But I really appreciate the bringing up of my past MC, that's a sure way to make a woman feel like CRAP. Ridiculous.

like I don't understand. If I thought I was pregnant, I would buy a test. If I was TTC I would have tests on hand. It's not that hard people.
