Wednesday Wins...my days are off

we haven't had once of these in a while. 

Ill start. We gave Damien rice cereal today for the first time. He'll be 4 months on the 24th but he's been try to get our food for more than three weeks now including almost knocking my entire plate down. He stares at all food including opening his mouth waiting for it. It took him a few spoonfuls to realize it was good but then his whole attitude changed. I'm so excited he enjoyed it! I've begun starting to feel bad on how much he wants food so doing this once a day makes me feel so happy for him (it's maybe four full baby spoons full if he ate all of it but he had maybe two total). We won't start actual food food for another 2+ weeks but this is such a good step!

@midge519 I was doing tons of research last night on making baby food! I'm excited for when my baby is ready to try them  

my wednssday win is that I woke up an hour before Violet and was able to eat breakfast, drink my coffee and start catching up on Pretty Little Liars while I cleaned a little !

Despite finishing off the better part of a quart of ice cream yesterday and generally not making good food decisions lately, I lost a pound!  Yay breastfeeding!

I took my son on the underground for the first time today! We met my friend for lunch. It was a bit daunting getting around escalators and up and down stairs, but we made it and it was fun!

Yesterday, LO was so good while we went to the post office to apply for her passport! We are planning a trip to Ireland for April. Hopefully, she'll be good on the plane too.

Today my little guy was good for the doctor during his 4 mo checkup. He made strange a bit but gave the doc some big smiles

I have a few:
1. Drunk as a skunk for the Super Bowl and both my girls slept through the night. Praise hands.
2. We were forecasted to get 4-6 inches of snow so the district I work for closed schools. The forecast was a total bust (no snow at all) so my girls and I had the day to do a Target Run and have a play date and we weren't snowed in!
3. Two hour delay today because of freezing rain. I was able to drink my coffee in peace before LO woke up and only be at work for 5 hours instead of 7.
