I have always had a flat stomach with pretty defined stomach muscles. I'm 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and I am so bloated. I know this isn't baby because I'm not that far along. I can already feel the underwire in my bra digging in my side. I've seen pictures of other pregnant women at 7 weeks and they are still skinny! I'm eating better, smaller, more frequent meals. I'm also still exercising, but seriously had a muffin top over my jeans today. How are you guys at 7 weeks?
I'm 5,weeks and feel like I'm carrying ten babies because of bloat. Im also extremely winded, can't catch my breath. I've gained 5 pounds already I'm considered fit before pregnancy. I don't know what to think. So early and feeling heavy and full. I can relate. I am growing out of jeans haha it seems way to early for that
From week 5-10 the bloat was seriously fierce. I would have to unbutton my pants while sitting certain days. But I'm now at week 11 and it has died down a bit. I've always heard people suggesting to just keep drinking a ton of water (which I'm really bad at doing). I think it just comes and goes. I also noticed it was worse at night for me. Everyone is different! But it's definitely very normal.
Yep! Bloat city, and it's very very normal. It has to do with the hormone changes during pregnancy, so there's not a ton you can do about it. Try drinking more fluids so that you don't retain as much, avoiding a ton of salt (although that's all I want these days!) and just finding some comfortable clothes to wear. I find that mine is fine all day and then the bloat really starts around 4-5pm, and then within an hour all of a sudden I look like I'm 5 months pregnant! It's flattering, really.
Bloat for me comes and goes through all hours of the day! There have been a few days that I've had to wear leggings to work because I couldn't fathom putting on anything that buttoned! Yesterday I absolutely felt like Jaba the Hut!!

Bloating is normal and common. Make sure you're drinking lots of water.
Also very bloated here at 11 weeks! Most of my pants hit right at the worst spot and are so uncomfortable. I have been unbuttoning my pants when I sit down now (or when I am feeling really bad I started wearing maternity jeans just for the comfort!)

Bloat is normal and every woman and pregnancy is different. Your body is going to change in ways you never thought it could, and this is just the beginning.
Hugely bloated here too for weeks. I have to keep reminding DH it's just my huge tummy and not the baby, which is kind of funny. I've been wearing a down zip up vest to work almost every day for the last two weeks - keeps me toasty warm and covers my afternoon bloat.
Uggh I have been bloated almost constantly for like three weeks. I am trying to hide my pregnancy until I reach that 12 week mark, but it is getting hard. I am wearing actual maternity pants today. I have been drinking lots of liquids, and eating almost hourly.
This is my first pregnancy and I am 8 weeks 5 days here. I normally have pretty defined abs but those are pretty non-existent now. I look like I am 15 weeks pregnant because I am so bloated...
6 weeks pregnant here and so bloated. I have had an increased appetite too...I'm pretty sure I gained a few lbs!! I hate how all my clothes fit me right now. I'm about to throw in the bag and just get maternity pants for comfort haha.
6 weeks here, and bloated as mess! none of my pants fit anymore. I was pretty fit before I got pregnant - running a few miles every other day, plus lifting weights and doing zumba. but now, I feel like a hippo that ate another hippo. I broke down and bought some maternity skirts to wear to work... i didn't want to buy pants, only to have to buy more pants a little down the road. I feel like the skirts give me a little more time, so worth the money I had to spend on them.

I wake up with a flat (ish) belly and as the day goes on, it just grows and grows. I started wearing maternity pants with my first daughter around 16 weeks. My second pregnancy at 9 weeks. May be sooner this time around.
UGH! I know how you feel! I have been bloated NONSTOP for the past 2 weeks. I drink plenty of water and eat small meals but its not helping. I've been wearing dresses because it's easier to hide the bump. Just need to make it to the 12-week mark undetected...
This is my first pregnancy and I've been bloating since week 3 1/2 when I first found out I was pregnant. Along with dizziness it was my first symptom and hasn't subsided since, ugh!
I know the feeling! I am petite, flat, and had issues gaining weight, NOT anymore! I am very bloated and by the morning, it goes down. I have also had colon surgery and a history of gastric issues. My body is not reacting to pregnancy so far, I'm 7 weeks. It's a part of the process and I accept it by now lol
I feel like a helium balloon! I start the day with my fat pants loose, and by 3pm I'm starting to unbuttoned them. Come bedtime I'm just an uncomfortable mess.
