GTKY: If you could have dinner with any 3 people, living or dead, would would they be and why? Probably both of my grandpas and DH's dad. They all passed away within the last 6 years. It'd be good to see them again and ask them the questions I never thought to ask when they were living.

R/R/CS: so somehow my temp my yesterday got deleted from FF, so when I put in today's temp I got dotted CH. I don't remember yesterday's exact temp, but approx where it was, so I put in my best guess and got solid CH. I'm gonna hang here another 2 days if that's cool just to be sure. Also, I couldn't do the recall function on my thermometer because I had taken my temp twice this morning-at 3am then at 7am. (Wasn't sure how many hours of sleep I would get)

GTKY: this question is so hard!! And funny side story...DH and I were on vacation on a rafting trip and the guide asked the group this same question. Everyone gave profound answers like Albert Einstein or political figures, etc. it came to me and I said (in total seriousness): "whew that's a tough call, I'm gonna say either Vince Vaughn or Jesus." LOL DH was like "well there's two extremes!"

hmmm...for today though I actually like my answer of meeting Jesus, and I'll add in my boss/mentor/friend who recently passed away unexpectedly, and my grandfather who passed away in 2008.

R/R/CS: I think AF is finally winding her way out the door.  This was a very crazy AF for me so I am interested to see if the rest of my cycle is also going to be different.  As I mentioned once before, that wouldn't be the worst thing, because old patterns would have us traveling to visit friends for my FW.

GTKY: I also find this a hard question, so I'll just go with the first thing that popped into my head.  The first two would be my grandma and grandpa who are deceased.  I don't remember my grandpa.  My grandma I had for a longer time but miss her and have so much guilt for not being there when she passed.  The third answer that popped into my head is Anthony Bourdain.  I know I should probably say someone more profound but I love him and would love to have a meal with him, even though he'd probably spend the whole time making fun of me for not eating meat.

R/R/CS: sorry to talk about flow but I have no idea how to categorized what's been going on the past five days.  Brown spotting two days with red light flow in the morning that picked up but by the end of breakfast, back to brown sporting the rest of the day.  --called that spotting.--  then I for sure thought it was the beginning one morning but then... Brown spotting by mid day. Yesterday, same thing.  Today - very little brown spotting.  I'd only be 7 DPO if I wasn't on my period..   I'm going nuts about this.  Carry on.

My brother who passed 12 years ago, my grandma who passed 2 years ago and Donald Trump so I could watch my very conservative grandma rip him a new one while watching and giggling with my brother like old times.  (She was a pistol and, while very conservative in her life and political views, would have never tolerated the hate he spreads.)

R/R/CS: My doctors appointment went well yesterday, and I have the laparoscopy scheduled in two weeks. My doctor was very helpful in answering questions, and he really put me at ease. I'm nervous, of course, but also kind of excited to get to this next step and hopefully find the cause of my pain all these years. 

Since the lap is scheduled two weeks away, this cycle is basically a bust. The date falls either right in the middle or just a day after my projected FW, based on previous cycles. I'm planning to keep temping every couple of days, but really, we're out this cycle before it even really begins. (I'm okay with that, just stating the fact.) I don't know if I'll keep posting here, if you will still have me, or just lurk the other daily threads for a while. Since I'm not really trying this month, I'm not sure where I belong, but I'm not actually TTA or really benched either. 

I appreciate all of your encouragement and good thoughts!

GTKY: First would be my grandfather. He passed away when I was 13, and yesterday was his birthday. Since they can also be living, I'll have to pick JK Rowling. The mind of that woman is fascinating!

R/R/CS: Hellooooooooo WTO!  I said this last night in TWW, but I want to repeat it here because it applies to a bunch of you: thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness and your patience and your chart stalking and your commiseration during my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad couple of weeks. Cycle 2 ended up being 47 days long with more confusion and frustration than I could have imagined. I'd have lost my mind without yall.

@bornmommy the exact same thing happened to me this month, and I also felt like I was losing it!  I had one day I could call "light," then four days of spotting before any "medium" or "heavy".  I'm one of those "tends to be regular" people and this drove me crazy.  Don't start Googling-all options that you will find except for IB, which apparently just lasts a day are so, are bad and will make you think there's something seriously wrong with you.  There probably isn't though, it's just a weird period.

My theory, although I didn't change anything in FF friend after much agonizing, is that my O date was wrong and what I actually experienced was a few days of spotting leading up to my period.  The day I finally got medium flow would have corresponded with a typical 11-12 day LP based on my alternative O theory.  In my case, I knew I wasn't pregnant because timing would have been bad for alternative O.  Lesson learned on relaxing on the sex after crosshairs.  

Anyway, my point is, it happens.  Periods are weird, and for people like me who have spent half our lives on BCPs that's easy to forget.  Relax

@Xstatic3333Ugh - crazy!! i never seek the advice of Dr. Google.  I know his medical degree is bogus.   ever since getting my cycle back,  I also know periods are nutty - mine was terribly hard to figure out before my first baby, then regulated nicley, then went crazy again.  Now, I have had days of spotting leading up to my period but it's never been so difficult for me to figure out haha.

 I also have the added history of bleeding throughout my first two trimesters with both of my viable pregnancies so not bleeding has never been an indication I should test. Also,  timing this cycle would be perfect for when I think I Oed based on opks.  I didn't temp but have it ready for next cycle.

thanks for the advice!  I'll just be over here banging my head against the wall for the next week unless AF actually appears and sticks around.

R/R/CS: Temp spike this morning, so I'm guessing yesterday was O? That always confusing me - day of spike or day before? Anyway, timing was great this cycle if all the signs are right! All my secondary type signs were in line for yesterday being O day. FX.

I would take dinner with my grandparents, a deceased grandmother and a grandfather who's had dementia for the last 8 years, over anything else I can think of. I miss my grandmother very much, and I think my grandfather and I could have been close if his strokes hadn't started when I was so young still. He's been having issues since I was about 16, right when we started really connected as I was reaching adulthood. 

If I could have those two, I couldn't come up with a third. (Boring answer!)

GL @bornmommy ! I hope you'll get some clarity soon. I'm a future FTM and had no clue lots of bleeding while PG was common. Hopefully temping will help you figure everything out. I really enjoy it myself.

R/R/CS:  TGIF. I slept like crap last night. DS was on a rampage yesterday so didn't nap and fell asleep on the car ride home at 630. He wakes up at midnight and is wide awake and hungry. I have to be up at 5 and I was so dead tired. My husband works til midnight so he wasn't even home yet to deal with him. It just pissed me off that my husband who is wide awake at that time wasn't there to deal with a MOTN wake up when it would have been really helpful. I know it's not his fault but it's feels like no matter the timing I am stuck with the shit end of the stick.

i never met 3 of my grandparents. I would love to have dinner with them and see how my parents were as kids and have them meet their great-grandson and see what they think of him.

I took a bit of a bump break after AF arrived last week. I just get bored posting here when nothing really changes. Also this AF was a hue bitch and really knocked me on my ass. I was not a very happy camper all week.  But it is over now I think I am ready to come back to join in the fun!

WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, acupuncture, herbs from acupuncurist, very clean diet, etc...going for a fertility massage today.

R/R/CS: I got day 21 and day 3 labs done and the numbers looked way better than I thought. The only thing that was out of the "normal" ranges was my day 3 FSH. I was very afraid that it would be elevated because I am old, but it was actually a tad low. 5 is the low end of the spectrum and I was 4.7. Not what I expected but I don't know if it is something to be concern about. Most of what you read is about high FSH, so I am doing some deeper research into the cause of low. Now when I look for info on low FSH is only talks about pituitary gland tumors, so of course that leads me down a dangerous rabbit hole...it was also at a 1:1 ratio with my LH (4.8) which my doc said she likes to see closer to a 1:1.5 ratio. I clearly ovulate, so I am really not feeling the need to be overly concerned. Anyone have any experience with this? 
I am super stoked my progesterone was good for my day 21 labs, I had a fear of low progesterone because I have had LP spotting, but it was around 20, which is a solid number. And another good thing was that I had zero LP spotting last cycle, which feels like a huge win.

My mom. And probably young versions of my grandparents. I would love to see them all in their prime and talk about what their lives are like. 
Or Jesus, Columbus and George Washington to see if they live up to the hype.

ETA I am so excited for your CD1 @LINDSEYRVA! That was one dramatic TWW! Hopefully this cycle doesn't mind F you!

R/R/CS: Ok, so I have a lot to say and ask today, so I apologize for my long winded post. My temp went up a little today, I am hopeful it will continue to rise and that my body has finally decided to get itself together and do this thing! I am more hopeful than normal because all yesterday I had pains that I would like to call O pains, not AF cramps, not as deep and long. Either or, I will go with it, but I am thankful my body is doing something. Also, I have had EWCM for the past couple days, but **TMI** more today. Question - I have YET to turn a wondfo OPK, I am hoping today I will, I tested this morning, just for the hell of it and it is negative, so hoping for that SMU. Has anyone ovulated but not turned an OPK? I have googled like the BSC person that I am now, and of course people say yes, but I don't trust it unless it is a bump board opinion  Crossing my fingers for SOMETHING!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE body do something! haha

1.) My Nono - I miss him so much and what I would give to go hiking with him again like when I was a kid. He was the best. He passed away a couple of year ago.

2.) My Nona (living) - because she lives in canada, and I am in florida and I never see her! I feel like life is short and I should spend more time with her, but I can't because of distance. 

2.) This is a cheat, but all my friends who are too far away for me to see on a regular basis!! I wish we could live on a cul-de-sac like in Cougar Town and hang out and drink wine and enjoy life together!

GTKY: If you could have dinner with any 3 people, living or dead, would would they be and why?  I love this question......my mom who died of cancer 10 years ago and never got to meet any of her grandkids.  Jesus, because I have so many questions and my spirituality is something I am only now starting to focus on in life. And probably Thomas Jefferson, because I would want to know his thoughts on how things stand in the US today, and what he would do to fix it, I think he'd be horrified.

I totally would rely on the wandfo over the digi. I feel like every time I have actually ovulated, which isn't often, the wandfo was dropping truth bombs, while the clearblue digital was telling me what I wanted to hear:)

@HeyBooHey What did you doctor say about your FSH levels? If he/she isn't concerned, I wouldn't be. I know it's hard, I always go to the worst case scenario with everything.

I feel bad now because my initial thought did not include deceased relatives. Although, I've been very lucky and don't have many. My choices would be Queen Elizabeth I because she was BAD. ASS. and I love her. She would probably side eye my two tattoos that pay homage to her. Also, I really wanna know if she really was a virgin. I think she was probably an "everything else" kinda chick, because, you know. It was the 1500's. My other two would be Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren. It would be the most feministy dinner ever with so much wine and bad words.

@Zoey1019 FWIW, I usually get my positive OPK on my WONDFO at night. Once they start to get darker, I basically pee on one every time I go through the day to catch the surge. Luckily they are so cheap! But I never turn one with FMU.

@MRSCORKER she wasn't overly concerned. She was like it is not a red flag, but maybe a pink flag that something is a touch off balance. It was the only number that wasn't solidly in the normal range, so it just made her curious. FYI, when I say "doc" I am referring to my acupuncturist. It is just too annoying to spell it out every time. I am not seeing a fertility specialist yet. Hope that doesn't get me flamed!

@HeyBooHey I should have mentioned that yesterday I checked it three times, 11AM, 3PM, 8PM and no dice, not even remotely close. I will do some today and every day! Until my body decides to do something or I get to 60 days and call my OB again.

@Zoey1019 I have never seen a true positive but only almost positives. I only test once a day though, usually in the early afternoon.

R/R/CS:  ugh, DH woke up when I got up to temp, and he hasn't been able to fall asleep.  He's already bitched once about "why do you get up this early" and stormed around looking for something while sighing a bunch.  I really hope that he falls back asleep otherwise he's going to be ridiculously tired and grumpy when he gets home tonight and probably refuse to BD.

On the Rave side, the things are all telling a consistent story, and the one I expected at this point. EWCM yesterday that I'm assuming will be on repeat the next couple days; after yesterday's pep talk, my temp went back down a bit; and I got another flashing smiley which should turn solid tomorrow or Sunday.

GTKY:  Ugh, too deep of thinking too early in the morning!  I'll have to come back to this later.

Oh, I meant to add to my post....
A couple of weeks ago we discussed water consumption and it's effects on CM. I typically drink a ridiculous amount of water, around 2 gallons a day, and I noticed that I never got EWCM, only watery. I thought maybe I was drinking too much and that instead of helping my CM production, it was hurting it. Well, I cut my water in half and I'm only doing about a gallon a day now and HOLY EWCM. It started on CD 9 and today is CD 13, still going strong. 
I wasn't really "making" myself drink that much, I kind of worked my way up to it over a the course of a couple of years. I will admit that I liked how it kept the bloat off. I'm feeling a little more bloaty but whatever helps get me KU!

R/R/CS:  Guys, I just don't even know. I am supposed to call my RE to get on progesterone when I get a positive OPK. I usually ovulate day 18 (which is today) and not a positive wondfo in sight. My EWCM dried up like 3 days ago, and my temps aren't telling me anything. I'm just at such a loss. Did I somehow O already and miss it? Is it going to be super delayed? We can keep HIO for a while longer, but it feels kind of pointless and now DH will have to reschedule his SA.  Of course the first cycle with an RE is looking to be a disaster. I'm just really feeling like even if there is nothing medically wrong with us, getting pregnant is a moving target that we can't hit. I know that's dramatic at this point. sue me

@khbear117 I was wondering the same thing about O being the day of the rise vs the day before. My temp rose a bit this morning but not higher than the 6 previous. Not quite sure how to determine cover lines yet but I think I'm close to O! Good luck!

R/R/CS:  My opks are turning darker so it's go time - timing is ed now until I get CH.  I'm a little worried we're behind because my temp dropped a lot this morning, but hopefully o day is still tomorrow or Sunday.

Jesus, which I think is self explanatory.

My grandma who passed away in 2004. We were really close. I would want her to meet my LO and ask her more questions about our family history and I would love more of her famous family recipes.

My grandpa. He passed away many years before I was born. It just would have been nice to meet him. I've heard so many stories.

R/R/CS: I woke up this morning at 5 (on my day off) to awful ovary pain/cramps. I haven't had any I've needed to take anything for since getting off the pill (I used to as a teenager) but holy moly! I finally slept about 30 minutes later after aleve and a hot rice bag on my stomach.

wow. That's hard. Probably both my grandmothers whom died when I was 5 and 9. I'd love to get to know them and the women they were. 
I can't narrow down for the third person!!! Maybe Roosevelt or JFK?

R/R/CS: It's my first month temping, and my chart looks like a freaking mountain range! Anyone else have pre-O temps all over the place? I'm just hoping I can actually see O. Also hoping that I'm actually ovulating. Blah.

@actwag It's so weird the FF gave you dotted CH so early. I'm sure if you have another low temp tomorrow, it will take them away. Hopefully a clear pattern emerges in the next few days! Also, sorry about you H and the anxiety issues. I worry my H will have the same so I try to keep the TTC talk to a minimum around him. Make him feel like it's no big deal and then come on hear and lay my crazy out for all of you!
