Hey everyone just thought I'd let you all know what's been happening.. last Friday they started an induction then stopped Saturday morning as their nursery became full that night so there was no room to look after bub. Saturday night I was flown to a hospital 3 hours away from home. Bub is still small but has put on 200 grams since last week. I was discharged yesterday but have to stay where I am as they want me to come in today and tomorrow for a ctg. He still isn't getting enough blood so I have another scan on Thursday and I don't know what's happening after that. Clearly the placenta is running out of go power so hopefully he comes out next week when I'm 36 weeks xx
Long story short. The cord flow has gotten worse and now I have to drive back to my home town hospital because this massive hospital is full. Hopefully to get induced.
Why do must they jerk you around so much?! Is there another hospital you can go to maybe? A hospital that will do their job and not flip-flop every second? You'd think a baby not having a enough blood flow to his little vulnerable body would be enough for them to make a decision!.
So the hospital I left last night after having to drive ourselves 3 hours back home because the ambulance never replied, suggested to this one that I have a cesarean (which no one told me until I arrived back) so I've been fasting since last night and it's not until this afternoon (no mention of a time) Starving and tired but excited to meet my little man
Glad you're little guy is doing fine. Make sure you post in the March Birth Announcements thread when he arrives. Glad you are finally getting some answers and action.
