Okay so me and my fiancé had unprotected sex three times and one of those times was the day before my ovulation day. And now my period is one day late. What does it mean?

2. How do you know you are "late" have you been temping?

If you want us to tell you you're pregnant we wont. Also how do you know when you ovulated? Are you temping?

But in all seriousness, a pregnancy test at the dollar store literally costs one dollar. And even if you don't have a dollar store near by, they are not prohibitively expensive elsewhere... I don't understand the conundrum here - just POAS. And like PPs have said, it is against the TOU to ask us if we think you're pregnant. We are internet strangers, we don't know. 

If you do get a BFP, no need to update us here. Just move on to your BMB.

Surely that's what you wanted to know since asking anything else is a TOU violation.

It means that you need to take a pregnancy test and, if it's negative, start temping.

ETA: If by chance the pregnancy test is positive then congratulations and please don't feel the need to come and update us. Just move on to your BMB/the 1st trimester board/whatever board you'd like to go to share the happy news on that isn't a TTC board.

1) How do you know when you ovulated? It's not usually a forecasted event that you know beforehand. So, it's hard to say that you had sex before you ovulated...

2) If your period was truly late (and you didn't ovulate later) then you could pop up positive on a pregnancy test. The dollar store sells them for cheap & Walmart has them for 88 cents. Please go POAS.

3) "what does it mean"?
A) You are pregnant
You ovulated later or not at all
C) You have some other issue

Sigh.  What do you mean, what does it mean? You came to a pregnancy message board so I'm pretty sure you know you could be pregnant.  What role are you expecting us to play?  

As others have said though - how do you know when you ovulated?  I'm going to go out on a limb and say you aren't taking your BBT every morning so I'm guessing you don't actually know.

It means you haven't gotten your period yet. If you are wondering about possibly being pregnant, take a test.

Really? Chances are you don't know when you ovulated because if you were temping you'd know that your period is not "late". Your cycles do not follow a calendar and can change anytime.
