Who else!? For those that have their due date on the 20th and are still pregnant, are you guys showing signs of labor yet? I had a check yesterday and still have no dilation. Baby is still up high! So frustrating.

I'm due today. I don't even know what a contraction feels like. Baby is low, I've had some other signs labor is eminent but I'll spare the details. The midwife didn't check to see if im dilated. I was given the option but i declined. Lol i think most of is would decline if given the option. She said it isn't medically necessary and their is no way to predict when labor will happen. So we wait i guess.

I'm due on the 19th and haven't had any signs yet at all. No dilation, no contractions. She's still high up too. *sigh*

I'm due on the 20th!!! No signs of anything happening anytime soon! However with my first I was 0 dilated and 0 effaced at my 40 week appointment and my water broke the next day! So keep in mind anything can happen at any time! Hope you are holding in!!! Little ones will be here before we know it!!!

I'm due on the 20th; I'm 2.5 dilated, thinned and baby is low. Doctor has repeatedly said it doesn't mean anything--I could def still go late and someone with no dilation could deliver today!

I'm due 1/20 too! Scheduled my appts for 1/19 and 1/22 today which felt crazy! Said if no baby by 1/22 we schedule the induction for 1/27, per policy. I also had to have a check today, again policy. 2 cms 50% and have been having contractions for the past five hours but they seem to be tapering off now. But it's so weird to know the end is in sight.

I'm due the 20th. I'm getting pressured to induce on the 18th due to gd but it's been controlled with diet so I'm hoping to wait until the 20th to induce if needed. I'm at 2 cm and 50% efaced with cramps but no contractions. Ive done 2 sessions of acupuncture so I'm hoping to go into labor this weekend to avoid an induction discussion.

I'm due the 20th! No signs yet. I feel she may havw dropped a lot last night but thats about it. I was 0 dialated and 0 effeced at my 38 week appt and then at my 39 he couldnt reach my cervix so no Idea. So frustrating!

Confession- I normally side eye posts for very specific due dates but I see this thread and was like "Yes that's me! Woo woo!!"
Due 1/20, had appt today 1.5cm dilated 60% effaced, told I'm very soft. Like @EC2016 I'm having cramps but not much in the way of contractions. Hopefully she moves along this weekend!

Oh wow! These posts have actually made me feel better! I feel I am not alone in this "why oh why aren't I showing signs yet" club, haha.

I do too... But I am also active on the baby center app forum and there was a 1/20/16 thread there that I thought was a cool idea (getting to chat with people who have your exact due date). So I came here and did a search to see if there was on here and didn't find one so I decided to make one. I hesitated for a moment because I was afraid I would be annoying! Haha. But hey, it is reassuring in a way to know that other people with my due date are in a similar seemingly non-progressive state! Surely does help with the frustration!

Was due on the 20th gave birth on the 8th! Ate lots of pineapple and two hours later my water broke

I'm due on the 20th too! No idea about dilation etc as midwife doesn't check that in uk until in labour. But head was almost 3/5 engaged at last appointment ten days ago. On and off getting period type cramps and yesterday I had some that were spaced out over couple of hours but then they went away at appointment on Wednesday I'm asking for a membrane sweep! I want to meet my baby now!! Glad I'm not alone

Haha that's funny. I ate a whole fresh pineapple last night! No luck for me yet lol

I wish I could eat a whole pinapple (sounds yummy) but too much sugar
I feel like I'll try anything right now. I've done everything else people have suggested except castor oil because that sounds aweful. I guess baby will come when she is ready (or when the doctor induces).

I'm due on the 21st but I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced at my appt on Wednesday. Apparently I'm also contracting every 2-5 minutes but I can barely feel it. Really hoping baby girl comes on her own this weekend but if not, I will be induced on Thursday morning. Can't believe the end is in sight

I'm due the 20th as well...no dilation & she's really high up. They are talking about doing a foley bulb induction with a balloon if I don't progress in the next week or so. Good luck!

I kind of wish my hospital used the foley bulb because I have heard many women say they go right into labor with it without the use of medication. My hospital doesn't use it for some reason. Good luck!

Alright fellow 1/20 mamas--it looks like it's happening for us this morning! After 24 hrs of intense contractions at home we came to the hospital and I was 6 cm dilated. It's been 5 hours and we're now at 8.5 cm. Excited to see all your birth announcements soon!

1/25 here...at my last appt on Wednesday, I was 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Baby is already 7 lbs 2 oz. The doctor swept my membranes, and the next day I lost my mucus plug. I've been having a few contractions a day here and there...but it never goes anywhere. I am so ready to be done!!

Well looks like if lo is not here by Thursday I'll be getting induced. They wanted to induce me today but armed with lots of information I was able to say no since there is no medical need/evidence to be induced at this point. I'm hoping I'll go into labor before Thursday and have her naturally. I was 2 cm and 50% today so that "favorable." I had a 3rd membrane sweep and third acupuncture session so I'm hoping third times the charm.

@EC2016 - They should not be inducing you if there is no medical reason so good on you for resisting

How is everyone feeling as today is the day?! Well it is already in the uk!

We have a 5% chance of it happening today or 40% in the next seven days!

I had cramps for ten hours yesterday thought there were a few irregular contractions in there but I slept it off after a bath and some paracetamol so must have been false labour

Off to see midwife this afternoon so will beg for a sweep!

Hope you are all keeping well and not going too crazy with this waiting game!!! X

I was originally due the 14th & had all kinds of cramps and whatnot leading up to the due date then they all just quit, and this little boy is stubborn! Am at the hospital now (being induced as my dr doesn't want me going over 41 weeks) so it looks like I'll be having a 1/20 baby! Having some contractions, still only 1 1/2 cm but 50% effaced (prob due to my membrane sweep yesterday) which is a change, but I can't believe it's almost time for me to finally meet our little boy! Good luck to all you mamas still waiting and hoping. I know how you feel. It's very emotional getting told week after week, no change, still high and thick lol you expect them to come by their due date, but like everyone says, they def have their own agendas. Sending you all good vibes & hoping your little ones are with y'all soon!

I've had contractions all night. They were around 11 minutes apart before I decided to try to sleep. Slept for maybe a little over a hour. They're 8-9 minutes apart now and I'm definitely awake. They're getting more painful instead of going away like before so maybe I will have a 1/20 baby!

Happy due date ladies! I am really hoping I am in the small percentage of people who have their baby on their due date, haha. The day is still young for me! I've had contractions and cramping but they have been on and off. Every time I feel one coming on I get up and walk around as to say "please keep it going!" Good luck to everyone! It'd be fun to know if any of us deliver today!!!

Holy crap these contractions freaking hurt. I just hope they sync up at some point because this is exhausting.

Just had a doctor appt today. Last week I had no dilation and barely effaced. Today I am 2cm and 60% effaced. So at least something seems to be happening. My doctor said they want to wait as long as possible (right before 42 week mark of course) until they result to induction. I hope I go in to labor naturally before then! Tired of waiting! But...at least we all will have a baby within the next 13 days!!!

So the contractions I thought were tapering off were the real deal. They stalled for about 5 hours but came in fast and furious. Laurel was born 1/16/16! Almost a week old already!

This girl! Getting induced on Weds when I hit 41 weeks. Still hoping I'll somehow go on my own in the next 48 hours but the lack of symptoms isn't promising. On Friday I was still 1.5cm dilated and 60 % effaced, no change from the prior week. I'm glad there's an end date in sight, I honestly thought for a moment "maybe I'm just gonna be pregnant forever" haha.

@ccoleeman I am going insane! Haha. I don't have an induction date yet but hopefully at my appt tomorrow morning I'll get one! Every single night has been "I can't do this anymore!" That is great your baby will be here soon! My doctor wanted to wait until the last minute for induction so it probably won't be scheduled until the beginning of next week. But at least I know I will have a baby within a week. I'm hoping I don't have to spend another weekend pregnant though! (:

Yay! My scheduled induction date is Monday! Looks like this January baby might be a February baby. Now... What will I do with myself for the next five days...
