@thisusername we started selling cookies today. If you would like I can send you my kids link because now they are doing online sales. Let me know. Lol. Thank you for understanding the craziness of girl scouts.

I wish they wasn't any craziness to understand!
But yes please to the link! Girl Scout cookies are just what we need to prepare for baby

  • I woke up on the wrong side of the hormonal bed today.

I cried over a blanket. Ugly tears. (I'm in love with a Tula print and they don't make it and I can't afford what people are selling it for, target has a blanket that looks like it) since I'm off work and currently not getting paid (trying to work on that) we can't afford the 10 dollar blanket so I cried. I texted a friend about it, just to vent. Well she bought me the blanket.

So I told my husband about it and he made me feel awful. He's like you cry over a blanket people will buy it for you. That started the tears again. I told my friend no and refused to give her my address but she got it from another friend.

Can this day be over yet!
  • @MaybeMab I'm sorry :( That's rough. Which Tula, I'm curious?

Your friends just care about you and don't want you to feel stressed or worried. I'm sorry your husband made that comment. It's not like you intentionally had her do it and that you have good friends who do things that will make you happy without your permission. He's probably just anxious too and feeling bad he couldn't buy it.

I'm sure you're correct. I mean we have 10 bucks but I was trying to be polite and not spend what money we have JUST incase I don't get paid for my time off before the baby comes. I've chosen to ignore him. I'm starting to feel a tad better. I just feel stupid that I cried over a blanket.

Being prepared and saving that money is smart. $10 doesn't sound like a lot to most people, but with the way I grew up I know how much it can really be in the long run.
Don't worry about crying over weird things.
The other day I cried because I can't shave my legs and the nurses will see that and have to touch my stubble.. Yeah. Hormones have us all going a little nuts. Men handle nerves weirdly. Hopefully he just relaxes and stops being mean.

Aww I love love noir. It's a bummer that it's so expensive. I have creme de menthe (the mint version) and Target has a matching sheet set!

  • I want that blanket now!
  • I about cried today when I was trying to explain to our HR lady that I can't get into my pay stubs. We went to an online company for all the Catholic schools and I registered at the one I worked at last year. I told her that I couldn't access it with my new email and she said they need to reset it. Well I called the company and they said it's her that needs to do it. Somebody just unlocked my damn pay stubs!?!?!

Then I told DH that I took a personal day next week. I'm hella tired and the thought of working 5 days next week makes me want to cry. I was planning on using my personal days when I'm on maternity leave (I only have 2) to offset my unpaid days. I was being dramatic and I said I was sorry I was such a burden financially to him for him picking up all the slack. He said to not even think that and he's happy that he makes enough to support us both. Total waterworks! He's the best!

25 days and I'm not sure how much more I can take!!
  • Ha ha ha Tula moms. I know that struggle. There are just too many these days and not enough money. Sorta similar, H and I got in a fight tonight because Thirsties released their arrow print cloth diaper and I need to have it (DD's room decor is arrows themed) and a mom posted a pic of it on FB because she just received it in the mail. I made a comment about it and H just had a s#@t fit cause I made a comment and we can't buy it yet but whatever, it just escalated from there

@DrillSergeantCat LOVE all things HP!!!! Especially Snape <3

Eta: to include the cute onesie I got that says "Snuggle This Muggle!" & bib that says "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." But posting from the app sucks :/
  • @DrillSergeantCat @TalulaPants At my birthing class, there was a woman in front of me that had a Hufflepuff land yard for her keys. We were saying baby names and her daughter's middle name was going to be Hermione. I was dying! Love me some HP but that's a bit too much!

Here is a Buzzfeed article on HP baby stuff...

  • @maluevano lol that is just a tad too much. I'll definitely be passing my love of HP and collector's edition books to LO but no names.
