on the insurance bandwagon. our homeowners insurance are major TWs. i dont have enough time or room to write about the shenanagins that have occurred in the year we have lived in for the past year.
My Twatwaffle are the people who keep telling me "what to expect" and "what I should and shouldn't be" doing since I am pregnant! It's highly frustrating when I am trying to get things done and I'm told I shouldn't be doing that, even though my dr ok'd me to. Or to be told that things in my pregnancy are weird because they did not experience it! Wait, aren't you the one who said everyone will experience different things and that no pregnancy is the same? (This example was my sister and my gender reveal Sunday) I love that people want to give me advice, but please don't act like you're my dr or that my experience should be the same as yours especially when it is a contradiction of what you have previously told me... Rant over
Ugh, this. Everyone wants to overrule the doctor. People said Prilosec is the only way to go...so I ask and my doctor says it's not recommended. So I'm not going to take it. And said people are indignant because I'm taking my doctor's advice over theirs. Really?
My TW is that it's only Tuesday. What the heck my body and brain say it's Friday. Somebody got it wrong.
I'm also on the insurance bandwagon. My deductible is 3500. And I did the harmony test and the charge was 3490. WTF!. My insurance didn't cover it and then the charge git a negative on front. I'm confused! No bill yet. I tried to call them and got a ridiculously long wait time. Ahhhhgh. But it's cool that my DR ultrasounds are covered. But not cool that I'm AMA and have been going to a specialist which is comes under my deductible. Boo. Babies are expensive before and after. And don't get me started on daycare.
@MrsKubley having the SAME EXACT ISSUE with Target. I thought I'd be a kind, sweet wife and order DH an Xbox One (his 360 just died on him) - the website said they had 6 in stock. Get an emailed saying it was going to be delayed, followed a few days later by a cancelled order email. Went back to the site, said they had 9 in stock so I reordered, only to get another "delayed" email today and that it wouldn't arrive for another 2-4 weeks. Checked out the site again, says there are 11 in stock! Talked with an online customer service rep and he said he'd take this error to management but they can't cancel my order... Seems like a site wide error with delays/cancels! SO frustrating!
I have a second one: TW's are the people/family who RSVP'd to the surprise 30th anniversary party I put together for my parents and then didn't show up...and didn't tell me they weren't. So, the 30+ people I told the restaurant to be ready for ended up being about 18. The excuses? Headache, no-show and a brother who chose not to come because I wasn't footing the bill for the entire group.
My echocardiogram tech is the TW. Most do not say anything, but she said everything in my heart looked great. I got a call from the nurse saying I needed to schedule another test ASAP because my EF dropped 5%, which means I lost 10% of it's pumping blood function in the last 30 days. Needless to say, I called into work and cried and watched Parenthood all day. Which makes me a TW too since a character on the show also has heart problems so I cried more.

Target's website it HORRIBLE. I mean for a major company like they are, you would think they could get a decent website that works. I'm always having problems with it.

Ugh, we had a similar day! My A/S was two weeks ago and they mentioned an abnormality with my placenta but said its nothing to worry about and should be fine. Today, out of the blue, I get a call from a nurse saying I need to go see a specialist immediately. Uh, couldn't you have told me that at my appointment two weeks ago?! To make things worse, I just got on DH's insurance and don't have my card yet, so i can't even go to the specialist until that arrives. So I also binge-watched Parenthood today, and yes, I always cry during that show
My other TW is my hair. Up until this point, I swear I haven't lost a single hair on my head while pregnant. Now all of a sudden I'm shedding like a dog in summer AND it stopped growing altogether. Which is kind of cool because I hardly ever have to shave now, but I would like my head hair to at least be replenished while it's being a TW.

Boo! That is so awful - I'm so sorry. Not that you want to rush it, but I called insurance and got all my information because I needed to go in before my card arrived, and it worked just fine. In case you don't want to wait!

Holy balls now I'm afraid they're gonna cancel when the date comes again. Someone will get a freaking earful if they make me sit and wait for two months!!!!
I ended up being the official TW yesterday...Went to leave work after my second day in a row of a 13hr shift to find my car key no where to be found. Mind you it had started snow the 12" we were expected and I had a crap of a day to start with I have no spare which is going to cost a ton to get keys or put and whole new ignition in it. My husband had to drive from 25min away to get me. I was and am furious ><

Oh no!! that completely sucks. I locked my keys in the trunk on Christmas Eve while we were out, and we missed church, but my MIL saved the day and brought us our spare key. Pregnancy brain!
