Opinions on the name for baby girl? Is it too 80's/90's? Are there any nicknames that seem to compliment it? I prefer the spelling Adrienne, but I have also seen it as Adrianne. I like it pronounced "Adri-en". Just looking for thoughts and comments. Thanks!

I like it and don't find it dated. I put it in the same group as Claudia, Felicity, Corrine. Names that are familiar but never peaked at a huge rate to a time period to be dated.

I have a cousin Adrianna and we call her Adri.

I like it. I'd spell Adrienne. With the e indicating your preferred.

I wouldn't think that it's dated. It's a very beautiful name. Best ideas I can think for a nickname would be Ren/Wren or Ada, but I think that the name is gorgeous on its own and personally wouldn't use a nn!

I like the name Adrienne. The only time I see an "a" instead of an "e" is Adrianna. I have heard of the nn Aid, which I love.

I really like it! I would spell it Adrienne. I don't think it's dated at all. My favorite nicknames for it are Adie (AY-dee) and Adrie (AY-dree).

I like it and don't think it's 80's/90's at all. My cousins name is Adrianna and we call her Adri or Adge (pronounced like Age). I think it's really pretty!

I am biased because this is my name, lol. Spelled that way too. But for my two cents, I like my name a lot and always have. It was different but without being weird.

Since you like it pronounced as Adri-en I would stick with the Adrienne spelling. I pronounce Adrianne as it looks. Neither one sounds/looks dated to me.
