I can decided if my weeks turn over on Tuesday or Sunday.
First day of my last period was Tuesday, Day I conceived through IUI was a Sunday.
So, technically I got pregnant on a Sunday, but traditionally its often measured by the period date.
Im thinking of switching my Tuesdays to Sundays, Especially since baby has always measured ahead.
I dont think backing it up 3 days is really that big of a deal, when its all an estimate anyway....
Whats your day? Period or Conception?
Re: What day does your week turn over, and why?
I go by the day of the week that my due date is because my LMP was obviously way off (early ultrasound showed I was over 2 weeks behind where my LMP put me).

Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
With DD2, I did know exactly when my conception date was, due to using IUI, but I still used my LMP to determine how far along I was.
Guessing it's because that's when the bump decided my husbands ejaculate fertilized an egg.
I do my turn day based on my EDD which is Wednesday
This time was a surprise, so I go by my LMP.
1. Dating u/s done on a Friday and baby measured 6 weeks 6 days
2. Figured out I turned 7 weeks the day after that appointment so Saturdays are my turn date
3. That also aligns with EDD as PP's said (due June 25th which is a Saturday)
I don't know if it's standard across machines/measurement protocols, but the way they measure in my practice it's plus or minus 5 days. It's really a ballpark, and not necessarily anymore accurate than LMP or date of ovulation/IVF/IUI etc.
Go by your EDD, uncertain though it may be. That is what your OB is going by. My EDD is a Thursday. I will be 40 weeks on a Thursday. Count weeks backwards from that day for your current number of weeks.
