Anyone have nexplanon in the arm and have had sex already?? How long ago did you have sex? Do you have a regular period?

Have you tried searching for "Nexplanon"? There have been a lot of other threads where it's been mentioned. Nexplanon is an implant, but it is not an IUD (IUD stands for intrauterine device, as it is implanted in the uterus.)  That being said, I got Nexplanon at six weeks PP (almost 10 weeks PP now) and I had sex about a week after. It was pretty uncomfortable, but that's probably more to do with how long it had been than the hormones from the implant. I have had a couple of days where I had some spotting and one with some light cramping, but no period. I am breastfeeding, though, so that might make a difference as far as the bleeding.

When I got it in they said to wait a week or 2. But I started having constant spotting so got off of it.
