Thanks to everyone's participation in helping to shape the board organization!!!
As far as general board rules - just keep in mind that you have a range of women here - everyone from FTMs to fourth time moms, a variety of ages, sensitivities, etc...so let's keep it respectful, fun and positive, with a little well-placed snark here and there. And if you have a topic that doesn't really fit in to any of the posts then feel free to start a new post! BUT please - use the search function! In all likelihood, your question has been asked and answered a bunch of times already!
Weekly Threads: these
will be posted on Mondays and will run the course of the week. Would be
great if someone wanted to own one or more of these to post every week, or if you don't see them and want to start, feel free! -Symptoms Thread -Weekly Randoms -Fit Mama Check In -PGAL Check In -What's for Dinner -GIF parties - whenever you want to post, these are always fun
Daily Threads: -Ticker
change!
Weekday Threads: happen once a week on the same day (please add date to thread title) -Monday Bitchfest -Twatwaffle Tuesday and/or Ten Things Tuesday -AW Wednesday (Attention Whore - for you to brag about whatever it is you want to brag about, guilt free) -Unpopular Opinion Thursday -Flame Free Friday Confessions -HDBD (hump day bump day) will be added Wednesdays once they're necessary!
Monthly: Siggy challenges
Stickies (for now and later): Maternity Fashion Ideas (discussion of where/when/what to get for maternity wear) What do you REALLY need for baby? (advice from moms who have been there on products and items you actually need, instead of all the millions of things we're told we need) Nursery pictures/ideas Sex announcements Birth announcements
@Lynnlove28 We have a due date spreadsheet pinned to the top. I've been keeping it up to date, but I've only been adding people who post their due date in the thread, otherwise it is too unmanageable.
I absolutely love this. Thanks so much for starting it.
@mrsmd1224 -- can we please add to the top of this for people to use the search function? you alluded to it above, but sometimes people need to see it explicitly stated!
There are seriously only so many ways to handle nausea, there's already an intro/due-date thread, etc.
I think it would be really beneficial so that when new things come up that haven't been previously discussed, they are given the attention that they deserve.
@mrsmd1224 - thanks so much for adding. I know we've had some members with later losses and I feel those are definitely more important than the nausea-related questions!
@BumpAdmin@BumpTara - can we please sticky this? It's important for all members to see and will help with some of the clutter
ETA: spelling, because apparently I have a hard time between feel and fee
@jwittwer I just spent the entire morning (can you tell I don't feel like working) trying to remember how to add a gif to my siggy since I hadn't done it in over a year. I know people will say to "search the boards!", but I can tell you that there are no updated posts on how to do it so here you go!
To add a gif to your signature: 1. In the upper right hand corner, click on the person-shaped icon. Click on Preferences. 2. Click on "Signature Settings" under your picture on the left 3. There you will see the window where you can add tickers, type in text, and add what every else you want on your signature. 4. Click on the <> icon on the tool bar. This is where you enter code. 5. Enter this code: <img alt="" src=""> 6. Find the gif you want. I personally like the site, Giphy.com. Right click on the gif you want and copy the URL to that image. 7. Paste the url in between the two quotation marks after the src= in the code 8. Hit Save, and the gif should appear in your signature box.
To enter a gif in the post: Click on the enter image icon in the tool bar. Enter the URL of your gif.
Are we moving forward with creating the suggested threads? I am not forum savvy so I don't know how that all gets done so I'll leave it to you more experienced ladies But I would really enjoy participating in some of these threads.
I'm wondering if we shouldn't resticky the introduction thread back to the top since we seem to have so many new people popping up and joining... Just a thought.
If anyone is tempted to create separate threads on your personal symptoms, remember: There is a whole entire thread dedicated to all kinds of symptoms we moms are experiencing every day.
Please continue to post on the Symptoms thread instead of creating different threads for each of your symptom. They'll crowd the board when they best fit under one thread.

I'm starting to take it personally that the admins have not added this as a sticky...I'm hormonal and they should be more attentive to my needs!!!!!!!

ETA: If anyone can point me toward a thread that goes through gifs, I'd love to know. I will start using them to bump the shiz out of this thread!

Enjoy!
From your phone:
1. Go to Google, search for what you want. For example "funny cat GIF."
2. Click "view image"
3. Copy the web address at the top (make sure it ends in ".gif")
Paste it into this code:
< img src="https://yourlink.gif">
(you do not need the quotations and no space after the first symbol)
4. You can also click and hold the image on some phones and choose "copy URL," which does the same thing as copy and pasting the link.
From a computer:
1. Follow steps 1-3 above
2. Click the green icon in The Bump area where you type (looks like a photo of a tree)
3. Paste your link
4. Press submit - voila!
ETA: failed the first time. Got it now!
@BumpAdmin can you please sticky this?
