Need alternative to Oliver

So DH wants a name that's more traditional, and I think something a *little* different/new would be nice. We both like Oliver but we're worried it's getting too popular- look at how its ranking skyrockets! https://nametrends.net/name.php?name=Oliver
Any ideas for another name we might also like that isn't so trendy?

  • Oliver is gaining in popularity but it's not a "new" name it is coming back into popularity like a lot of name rights now. I like it. I'm a little confused with the wanting a new name but not a trendy name as new names are trendy.

  • If it makes you feel better about popularity I just posted something above about stats and baby names.

My province released the top 10 baby names and the number one name for boys was Owen with 59 baby boys names Owen, out of a population just shy of a million that's really not too many. I don't think it'll be trendy just popular because it's been around so long.

I have an Oliver and we loved the name for various reasons and didn't even realize it was starting to become popular.
