Hey now! All the FTMs TOTALLY get to celebrate Mother's day this year! You are moms! Already!
Thank youuuuu! It hadn't even occurred to H to celebrate it this year until I mentioned it and even then, he thought it was weird.
I was like... HELLO!?! I'll definitely have invested more of myself in the last 8 months (by May) than you will have in the few days leading up to Father's Day after he's born... so if you get to celebrate, so do I.
Got my prenatal massage yesterday, the one from the man that H bought for my birthday. I got there and got checked in and the girl at the front said she wanted to go over a few things with me since I've never had a massage while pregnant, "for the best experience possible". So we sit down and she is asking about tension and where I would like the masseuse to focus, blah blah... then she asks how much pressure I'm comfortable with, I say medium and she says ..... (dramatic drumroll).... "ok well if Trevor goes too hard or too deep just let him know and he will ease up on you. "
This is said with an absolute straight face and I had to bite the insides of my cheeks to keep from laughing or giggling.
1) Someone shared a two-year-old video of a dying father and his daughter getting dressed up like it was her wedding and filming their father/daughter dance. I lost it. Cue all the ugly tears.
2) I have a Kinderpack problem and every time I think I have all the carriers I need, I find another I want. Anyways, my newest one is arriving in the mail TODAYYYYYYYY! I am, hopefully, going to sell one of my old ones to not be completely ridiculous. I really only need one per size.........

I adore Kinderpack.
I just got Nerd Love . This will be my infant for this baby. My daughter just graduated to my Happy Little Clouds standard!
@HBamama2B I'm not sure what that gif is with the dog but it scared the hell out of me! HATE SPIDERS and extremely terrified. *runs away scared to open randoms thread now*
Man, my humor is so off today! I'm giggling hysterically at things that are giving others nightmares! Also - I googled T-Rex Ultrasound and was not disappointed.
@gray51015 oh man, when I used to teach Grade 10, I had such a hard time not laughing at teenage boy humour. Your story made me spit out my water laughing so much. I would also be holding back a "that's what she said!"
@crdo - Zika has been on my shit list since November of last year when I started following it. I hate it and, while I usually love spring and summer, I hate the warmer weather that is bringing it closer to all of us.
@crdo Maybe this should also be an UO but use resources from Ebola. It is in the best interest of the media to sensationalize the story. Not that the issue wouldn't be serious but other agendas are clearly at play from the tone of the article.
Sooooooo... I got a little behind on this thread and then was too intimidated to open it but finally did it today. I just skimmed over 60 pages and I think I've gone crossed eyed now, but some jokes I've read on other threads make a bit more sense now! I will not be making this mistake again. I will check this thread daily, lol.
Also, today I got into a lighthearted debate on FB and tried to post a gif but then the gif wouldn't move! I was so annoyed and then one guy's response was: "a lady doesn't gif." And my bed rest baby brain can't think of a clever comeback. Thoughts?
Also, I would love to have a labour buddy if I'm not too late to the party @fishwife799! I'm in Canada, so if texting is an option I'd love another Canadian buddy so I don't have ridiculous cell phone charges. I think it was @catherinekate who mentioned this before?

So a fun new thing I'm having to do. Due to a variety of factors, including larger boobs, a pregnant belly, and probably poor posture, I now tuck my t-shirts between my boobs and my belly when I'm not wearing a bra. It makes me feel like I'm 86, but it's more comfortable. I'm sure my hubs thinks it's oh so cute..
Married July 2014 DD born June 2016 Second due August 2020 (team green!)
Has anyone seen a recent post from kjo79? She asked to have a labor buddy but now I can't even tag her or pull her up. Maybe she changed her name? I'm working on pairing people and don't want anyone to go without a partner.

Ugh. Can't get out of the box!
I have been doing this for many years becaue of big boobs...I hate when my boobs touch my skin below them. So much better to tuck in the shirt!

I actually just sent you a post about one minutes before I came to this post lol. Thanks for thinking of me!!!
Currently in OB triage because I thought I was having contractions. I chalked them up to BHs but when I had like 5 in a half an hour period and realized I hadn't felt LO move for a while I called my OB and they told me to come get checked.
I had a few more on the way to L&D but of course none since I laid down to be monitored and the little guy is wiggling and rolling all over the place now. That's usually how it goes, I suppose. Being a FTM is so hard because I don't know what's normal and everything that isn't part of my now daily norm freaks me out.
But man, if they were contractions, even BHs... OUCH.
Just a heads up I have had an uneven number of people interested in having a LB. So there will be one group of 3 and the rest will be pairs. I am pairing people based on post count and history so I hope everyone is happy with their buddy. Remember that the relationship is what you make of it. So if you only ever message back and forth on here that is up to you. Have fun
I'll post them in my next post since tagging is being a pain. seriously being a pain so each pair will be posted in their own post

I'm so glad all is well, and hoping it stays that way! My BHs have been painful too :-/ pregnancy is tough, mama!
