@fishwife799 that's a toughy. I tried to pm you thru the mobile app but idk if it worked since I'm mostly mobile. You don't wanna leave people out, but you also don't want to invite all the randoms. Maybe we could think of a title for the post that only mostly regulars would open?? Hmmm.
What about the daily check in?? That seems to be a pretty consistent group?
I like this idea! That way it's putting it out there for more people but will like not bring in as many people. I could type something up and whoever starts the daily thread could maybe copy it and add it to the post? @mrsschmityyou usually start the thread right?
Does anyone else have the itchiest skin ever? I itch literally all over, especially at night. Sometimes it is so bad it wakes me up. I googled last night and that was a mistake. It's either something completely harmless that will just resolve itself after labor or a horrible liver disease that is very dangerous for the baby. I have been making my H cocoa butter me up before bed every night but it is driving me nuts!
@MeganF08 Gotta love google, lol. I'm super itchy all the time, too! I was just assuming it's dry skin...both pregnancy & winter weather related. But, now I'm worried about this horrible liver disease...so, thanks?! LOL
@DeePaddy24 Sorry about that! Don't blame me, blame google The good news is that if you skin doesn't start yellowing jaundice style then it is probably not the liver disease. Mine has been much more severe then regular winter skin, even the palms of my hands itch!
If we did do a LB post (separate from everything else) - you could just also make people find their own Labor Buddies... that way if drive by randoms want one, they have to find someone. And it won't be with a normal poster...
However, like I said before, my cray cray story was with a frequent daily poster. Therefore, I chose to update y'all myself during labor

It is most likely dry skin from winter/hormones... but, my sister actually had the horrible liver disease. She said it felt like fire ants were constantly crawling all over her, it was that bad. She told her OB and they induced her the next day at 36 weeks. If it's just really itchy, I wouldn't worry; but if it is far beyond normal itchy skin, I would ask your doctor.
@KOR121 I made myself delete today's Zulilly email before I could even open it. I can't handle that kind of pressure so close to the next pay check! Haha
About a decade after everyone else I'm watching One Tree Hill (DH has been going on lots of business trips...) - I'm in season 8, and I can't stop thinking what shitty friends Lucas and Peyton are because there's a lot of heavy shit going down with their BFFs and they're not there.

Hello Ladies! I figured I'd post in a random thread rather than starting a new one. I wanted to wait past the 20 week ultrasound to properly join you all but have been reading (most) of the conversations. Thank you very much for all the helpful tips so far. I'm looking forward to becoming a more regular member of the community.
junebabyjoy I actually just started using Belli facewash and spot cream, it was suggested on I think the skincare thread at the top of the discussions and I'm loving it! It was only $20-ish and safe for preggos! My face has imporved in just a few days, a few coworkers even told me I was glowing today!
MeganF08 I have been SO itchy and it turns out I have PUPPP, its mostly on my stomach but it has spread to my legs before. But the good news is, you would totally know if you had it-- it's super red and obnoxious.. I've also been sleeping with a humidifier on at night and that seems to help!
@kballew10 My grocery store sells just the marshmallows in a little clear canister, like the one you get your parmesan cheese in with the green top. They're in the baking section, not the cereal!
I never comment on the daily threads, does this mean I don't get a LB? I was just going to message @fishwife799
Yeah someone's gotta give us a heads up when to look at that thread I get too overwhelmed by it and rarely participate except on weekends when it's a little slower

My guess is you can message her at any time, between the daily threads and this one everyone who regularly participates should get the memo and be able to message her by the 9th.
I just bought a new carpet steam cleaner! Im beyond excited and have cleaned all the carpets in my house. Im also really grossed out at how dirty the water was!
I had to eat a lot of crappy cereal to have some delicious marshmallow cereal. I sort and eat all the 'kibble' and save the marshmallows for dessert when the milk is extra tasty. (Yes, I'm a smidge type-A)
ETA- you can get a jug of just lucky charms marshmallows.
Guilty of that as well @hbamama2B - I hate being left with the kibble and no marshmallows in the last few spoonfuls. That isn't Type A crazy, just logical.
Small update: follow up ultrasound showed this kid's long bones are in fact growing. And, while he's still measuring small - and I saw "IUGR?" scribbled on the doc's paper - he's satisfied that the bones shape and growth aren't concerning in the way they were two weeks ago. So, seems we can rule out the skeletal dyplasia worry (ie/ dwarfism). YAY. One hurdle down. Now all that's left is the repeat cardio u/s to look at the hole in the heart and the microarray results from the amnio. And I suppose IUGR might be a consideration now -but he didn't mention it, so I guess that might be more of a wait and see.
I feel relief - which is presenting as exhaustion and insane hunger. So, chocolate, my bed and Netflix is on the agenda tonight.
p.s. my skin is INSANELY itchy these days too. I think I'm actually going to scratch off my boobs.
I'm annoyed that husband won't help me clean the house for his moms trip out here.... I have three rooms to deal with, once of which needs to be emptied because it's going to be turned into the nursery, yet he's complaining that I need to clean my ish up. Uh, hello? Half the crap in the office is YOURS, and I've asked you about 6 times in 2 weeks to help me move my sewing table into the other room. So naturally, I'm taking 2 half-days off my morning job to clean as much as I can before I have to be at the ice rink to teach classes. Fun.

....although I totally snagged 3 cloth diapers and a wet/dry bag today in 2 minutes flat, so clearly my strategy of avoidance is working (not).
