I can clean it top to bottom in about an hour and a half and when H gets home he thinks I haven't been sitting on the couch watching Private Practice and eating Reese's eggs for the last 6 hours.
@ahernandez16 I'm super late catching up, but I just saw you post that you don't intend to use a pump at all. I'm sure you have considered this, but with my first I had serious supply issues and even though I didn't need a pump in the beginning to use to give her milk when I wasn't around or anything, I needed it to try my hardest to increase my supply. Breastfeeding is hard, yo.
DH & I went out to dinner tonight because we didn't have a usual date night over the weekend (other obligations that had us apart) well we were seated tonight next to a woman and man and she was SO loud and obnoxious the entire meal, the couple on the other side of her was also expecting (due in 2 weeks) so she spoke loudly to anyone who would listen about her own pregnancy (which was 18 years ago) the poor couple said it was their last night out before the baby came & this lady would not shut up! She ruined our meal & the other couples... I cannot stand people in public who think everyone wants to hear what they have to say... We were just trying to enjoy a quiet date night... Grrrrr!
For the record I was not snarky and actually encouraged her to lurk the two boards...Two out of a whole board came over frustrated and said their piece. A little snark never hurt anyone.
Would it not frustrate you if you had offered support and advice to a newcomer for them to immediately go to another board to complain about you for no reason?
@MsBeachNJ ugh that is so annoying! People think they can carry on a conversation with a perfect stranger when she's pregnant for some reason. I went out tonight and I lost count of the amount of people who stared at me until I was out of their sight. Have you never seen a pregnant lady before??
Woooops didn't realize we were changing the subject
heres something random, my husbands good friend from the Marine Corps wife just posted as him on his Facebook telling everyone he cheated on her (they're married and she's pregnant) and she came home and caught them in bed this morning. A whole bunch of craziness ensued but damnnnnnn
@alysemciver- I'm confused...your Hs good friend posted himself or posed as your H?
Ahhh no, his wife went on her husband's (my husbands friend) Facebook and posted all this info as if she were him and gave out allllll the details example of her exerpt- "I'm a piece of shit"

Oh, totally. I actually have no desire to BF. I really never have. I thought that'd change with pregnancy but it hasn't. It still could BUT regardless I do want to give it a try. I just am not anticipating liking it and even if everything works out perfectly I plan to supplement with formula while I work and feed at home in lieu of pumping and if it doesn't work I'll just switch and exclusively FF. So, I guess I'm just not anticipating a need for a pump at all because I don't want to pump at work. And if I have supply issues or latch issues or whatever may arise I know that'll give me anxiety and I'd rather just switch to formula instead of bringing on the anxiety I know will come with me trying to "fix" it.
I weaned myself off anxiety meds a few years ago and I just don't want to go back on them. I hope that doesn't make me sound awful, lol.

Why do people feel the need to display their personal shit all over social media?? I'll never understand it...

@ahernandez16 your plan doesn't make you seem awful at all, you do what you gotta do to feed your kid and stay sane and if that means formula, so be it.

It was insane. Like nothing I've ever seen.
I've had a few of those go down in my Facebook feed. It's hard to make someone feel awkward to something going down over a computer screen but those will do it!
I am enjoying my second chili dog and a strawberry Fanta tonight. No Ragrets...
At least for now. I'm sure I'll have some when I wake up later convinced that I will die from heartburn.
I had Buffalo chicken wraps earlier today. It seemed like such a great idea at the time but I may not have a throat left come morning...I feel your pain.

Ah gotcha! Totally awesome plan. And my bad for assuming you were all "IM TOTES GOING TO EASILY BREASTFEED BECAUSE ITS SO EASY LIKE GLITTER AND RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS!!!" I'm still bitter about my supply issues if you can't tell.
I've also never understood posting your drama on facebook. It just doesn't make any sense.
@ahernandez16 You are NOT awful. As long as you feed that baby you will get no judgement from me. Unless you give him Oreos at 3 months old. I might judge you then
@alysemciver- ohhhhhh. I reread your original post like 15 times and couldn't figure it out, but I got it now soooooo awkward. Ugh.
@fishwife799- girl, I've been craving chili dogs for dayyyyyys and I hate hot dogs
I don't like them either. But I will eat them as chili dogs and corn dogs. Usually about halfway through the corn dog I will pull the dog out and just eat the breading though because I am 3.
Thanks ladies! I usually don't feel guilty because I know it's best for me and me at my best is best for baby but sometimes when I type it out or talk about my plan out loud I feel like it sounds so selfish.
Also, no Oreos until he's at LEAST 6 months old. I'm not a monster.

That legit happened on my last bmb.Her kid was diagnosed FTT and so she gave him Oreos thinking it would "fatten him up" when he was 3, maybe 4 months old max.
@ahernandez16 go you. I felt a lot of pressure to BF and in the hospital the nurses told me I needed to start supplementing (which I have since found out was not true, but that's not my point). I felt horrible about it and then once my milk finally came in my daughter wanted to nurse for like 4 straight hours every night and our pediatrician told us to just give her a bottle--having that time away from her while my husband gave her a bottle was amazing. I ended up losing my milk around 6 months, but by then I was more ok with using formula instead, but I still had some guilt. This time I'm just going to do what works for me.
And my random of the day--I have escalated from snissing. Today I peed a little when I farted.
Re: Weekly Randoms go here...
also, I'm thankful the weekend is almost over. Our kids have been at each others' throats since yesterday morning and I.am.done.

Haha! Oh man I thought you were just over dramatizing how much it'd take to judge someone for feeding their baby.
Wow. I wonder how she gave him the Oreos. Like, blended in his formula? Lol
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
