Okay random question but not important enough for its own thread. Does anyone else get out of breath if they sit in a chair that is leaning back? I've been finding that if I sit on the couch in any position other than laying on my side, I find myself breathing heavily after a few minutes. I know it can happen if you lay flat on your back because you compress the vena cava but I figured just leaning back would be okay...I have an appointment on Friday and plan to bring it up but just wanted to know if anyone else has/has had the same issue.
Totally happens to me when I lean back on our couch with my feet up. Blech.
Also, nothing is too insignificant to start a new thread about. NOTHING, I say!
I feel like I'm super behind on this thread, but I've just gotten all caught up! No more traveling for me; I'm over it!!
@Sgoldberg247 That happens to me too, and if I lean forward to try to catch my breath back sometimes I get a really strong sting in my lower back that makes it hard to take a deep breath!

I also get this--not just when I'm in a reclining chair either, but also just sitting on normal chairs/couches. Unless I make sure my posture is super straight, I start feeling dizzy and have to lean over to my left side.

I have the same exact scene playing out. I cannot lean back at all- in the car or anywhere- I get nauseated and short of breath and soo dizzy.
Omg! Has anyone had ligament pain yet? Aka knife stabbing your belly button for 3 hours without letting up and it decided to do it at bed time so you are completely useless while H had to do everything since the pain won't let you straighten your body out, pain? If you haven't, i sincerely hope you don't. If you do, put on the support belt! Never take it off!
On another happy note, just checked the weather for Thursday and it looks like I get to drive 44 minutes in a tsunami to take my GD test (which, coincidentally is also Trent Harmon's hometown, Idol fans, apparently, he is a big deal). I totally am stopping at Hardees on the way in. I dont care if you aren't supposed to eat in the office...I'm eating that biscuit as soon as my blood is drawn, whether it be in the waiting room or the reg room. You can't schedule and 8:30 drink and a 9:30 appointment without expecting food to appear after the draw 2 minutes before the appointment that will prob take an hour...
Thanks to everyone who replied! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like a totally out of shape person just for freaking sitting down...Yay pregnancy!
That is terrifying. I feel like I did a much better job of preparing earlier in the pregnancy and now I have lost steam even though this is probably the best time to read/research/prep. This is just another reminded that I am slacking. Anyone else?
@crdo she didn't give too much info "My little guy, Blake Harris, is doing wonderful. He’s quite pint sized but as feisty as can be. We have a long road ahead, one that I know is going to have trying and wonderful moments, but I am doing my best to stay sane and look forward t watching him grow on the outside instead of the inside"
@meganf08 I can completely relate. I have nothing done!!
Pregnancy hormones & "everything he does is wrong" are both legitimate defences for a husbands murder, right?? Asking for a friend...
Yes. As long as you agree that calling your wife (who is on the bus home from work and you've been home for two hours) at 5:50 asking what to make for dinner - is also legitimate grounds for murder.

I had to erase three a-hole answers. I can't handle it!!!!
I seriously almost fell over from the potato chip comment. Laughing hysterically + coughing so much from stupid allergies + separated abs = agony, but it was WELL worth it.
I just spent my entire day going through every article of clothing 3 yo DS has ever worn, and separating them according to size to get ready for LO. And you know what struck me as funny? Clothes 6m and under were in stellar condition, clothes 6 months and over all had stains - baby food, grass, and mud stains. Moral of the story? Bibs are useless.

Also, right there with you @MeganF08. My stack of baby/prep books to read keeps staring at me disapprovingly. Eek.
