@laylahsmomma I used to love cooking (and eating) venison but the other day DH asked me to cut and marinate some and I was totally repulsed by it. I don't know what it is about that smell...
@mrsmartinez16 I don't know what it is about meat, but everything smells like death to me & it makes me sick as a dog. Except bacon, bacon could never smell bad to me lol
I've been really good with smells for the last month or so, but they are holding a training in my work building and catering lunch... I don't know what it is, but it smells weird. I'm glad to be leaving for lunch!
Speaking of gross smells and heaving...my LO puked in my bed twice last night. I was so grossed out trying to clean it up I puked myself. And then this morning I had a shower with her (mainly to wash the puke out of her hair) and right after I turned the shower off and went to grab her a towel, she pooped in the tub. I was gagging and dry-heaving cleaning that up too. Ugh, stop being so disgusting, child.
Oh god @laylahsmomma that sounds wretched. My husband is a chef and is struggling hard to make food that is bland enough for me to eat but that is over the top. Poor you. And ugh @Emztron500 that sounds horrible.

Blargh. I hear ya. We have a freezer full of venison courtesy of deer hunting season in November. Just the thought of it makes me want to vomit. H has been nice and bought some ground pork to blend in with the ground venison and that seems to make that gross gamey taste dissipate enough for me to stomach it (drowned in spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese, of course).
Went home for lunch, brought back a handful of chocolate chips for "later"... I've been back here for 35 50 minutes and eaten most all of them. Whoops.
Edit: I finished them... Me and will power are enemies.
I just fell asleep sitting up in my chair for 20 min. I woke myself up coughing. Good thing, I might have missed my 2 o'clock meeting...which is currently happening and I'm bumping.
I feel refreshed after that nap!

I give up on shaving my legs. I swear no matter how careful I am I always cut myself. So I'm just throwing in the towel. If you ever need me I'll be the girl rocking the hairy legs.

Just draft your SO to do it. Mine does when I get too far to do it myself. Not perfect, but better than sasquatch legs lol
2 reported cases of Zika in South Florida. Seriously, I'm going to have an anxiety attack.
Urgh, Hillsborough is next county over. 10 minutes away. I'm never going outside again
I believe these cases are all to be a people who traveled to South America. From the research I could tell, none of the cases originated in the state.
None of them did, but if they still have active virus in their system and are bit by the right mosquito, they have the potential to spread it. Hopefully the fact that they've identified the people means they'll properly contain this. I never thought I'd be cheering on snow coming, it'll at least keep the mosquito's at bay.
Interesting. I was just watching the news, and they said that people infected with the virus and in the US do not pose a threat for spreading it... Off to do more research. It's such a scary topic!
EDited to add: CDC says in addition to mosquito bites, it can be transferred mother to child (pregnancy) and through contaminated blood. I wouldn't consider someone infected as a risk to me unless I was handling their fluids. That being said, keep them the F away from me anyway!!
It l depends on if they have an active infection (I think). Your body can get rid of zika so if you get bitten after your body has it under control I don't know if it can be spread. A huge issue here is that zika, until now, has been the weaker sibling of dengue fever. Not a ton has been done on it research wise because it wasn't seen as that bad.

@sdnybrk uh I have never seen H without a beard so I don't trust him with a razor.
@Emztron500 rarely. But today I was wearing shorts and could literally feel the breeze through my leg hairs as I was walking. Then I realized I haven't shaved since I found out I was pregnant so I figured I should give her a shot.
I'm doing a fairly good job not eating sugary, crappy things but I do sometimes like to eat some crispy M&Ms. I asked my H to grab some when we went to the store and he brought back not one, but TWO bags. Love him!

The day crispy m&m's came back might have actually been the best day of my wholeentirelife.

All I want to eat right now is cake frosting out of a jar...but I don't have any. I settled for the marshmallows in the marshmallow bag. Why do I work out again if I eat this crap?
My mom surprised me with a Jersey Mikes cheesesteak sandwich for lunch apparently, she didn't care about feeding me, she just wanted to make sure her granddaughter was getting more nutrients than Mac and cheese with chicken would offer. Lol. Thanks mom!!!

You guys are weeeeeiiiiiiiird.
I am now craving crispie m&ms. And peanut butter m&ms.
Thanks. Lol.
As long as enough people like them that they keep making them, I'm happy. I will eat them on behalf of those here that don't like them.
