its just so exciting that everyone has been having such a great news. I've been MIA for a few days but still checking to see how everyone is doing.
@dragonfaerie - I'm going to start acupuncture today. I decided to go with one who was in my insurance and not the guy who was charging almost as much as the process itself.
We got our PGS testing results back today. Of the 8 that they sent out for testing, we have 5 good eggs mixed of boys and girls!!! I'll go on the pill next week and then start meds on April 2 with a tentative transfer date of April 12!

@Griffin5413 - Those are awesome PGS results! I had retrieval yesterday and got my fertilization report today. I had 12 follicles all of them not big enough, they got 9 eggs but only 5 mature and all 5 fertilized with icsi! Hoping they all make it to day 5 to go for PGS testing.

@dragonfaerie - In all honestly I've never really felt much of a difference or been super sold on acupuncture but if it increases our chance for having a successful transfer then I figured it would be worth it in the end.

Ladies, It has been a couple days. Quick update: We transferred two "fine" embryos on Tuesday. The other three had not progressed as well as the outstanding that were transferred. The doctor office called a couple days later and only one embryo made it to the stage to freeze. We are in the TWW which is so much easier when I have to work but crazy today.... The blood test is scheduled for March 7th. I have to say that I have not had any tale-tale signs things are progressing in either direction. But another friend stated we are PUPO! I am keeping that in my head and living as if it is 100% true.
@selena2016 - We are not going to pick gender. We want to try to have as normal of a pregnancy as we can considering how we've gotten here. At this point, I think the plan is to only transfer 1. I've never been pregnant before & RE thinks b/c I'm only 33 we should stick with that. I should know more tomorrow when I see him though. It is pretty incredible though to think about how much we can know before we even get pregnant.

@Griffin5413 That is a really interesting way to think about whether to pick the gender or not. We keep going back and forth about whether we want to know the gender or not. It's so cool that we can know, but then we want to be surprised. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. How are you doing otherwise?

@dragonfaerie - we keep going back and forth about it too. It's so hard not to know when I know that they know. lol. Other than that I've been pretty good. I had some OHSS which was pretty awful but I am feeling so much better. I just started on BCPs again today and will start Lupron injections on the 15th. Our expected transfer date is April 12 which I'm hoping will be here much sooner than I'm expecting. How about you?

@Griffin5413 Exactly! So hard to decide.... I'm sorry you had OHSS, I hope you didn't end up at the doc/hospital for it! My doc does a long cycle, I think to ensure I am as healthy as possible. So I won't start BCPs until my next cycle, and my transfer will be beginning of May. It's hard to wait so long, but I trust their judgment and I'm busy enough that I think it will go by quickly. Acupuncture has been okay, I'm still undecided about if it is worth it.

@dragonfaerie I'm also undecided on the acupuncture but figure it's at least a way for me to relax for an hour once a week. We had our ER yesterday and got 16 follicles. Got the call this afternoon that 6 fertilized so they're hoping for a 5dt on Saturday. I'm hoping to squeeze in one more acupuncture before then!
@BridgetLy That's a good way to think of it! I definitely take a little nap in there. How are you feeling after your ER? 6 fertilized is awesome! FX for you!

Hi Ladies – I’ve been traveling for work, so just getting
caught back up with everyone.
@alexiskiriluk I stared estrace last week and then will start
progesterone around the 10th with my FET on the 15th. I
opted for doing suppositories for both vs the shots.

At first we thought it would be cool to know, but now that we’re actually at

@MelD17011 How interesting! We always figured it would be a given that they'd know. I think what we decided to do was if we have several embabies that are good for transfer, then we won't request to know, but if we only have one choice, then we'll find out in advance. This week has been a roller coaster ride. On Wednesday around noon I went to the restroom to find some pinkish substance. I was so scared I have started by period. Well so far I have not started which has been a great relief. But I can not get the nerve up to take a HPT since I have only seen negative results. I guess I will just have to wait until Monday.
I am taking Crinone twice a day. For the past couple of weeks, I have woken up a couple times burning up even though I have not changed the thermostat or bedding. Normally I wake up cold. Weird.
@Cardinalgal97FX for you! A lot of those hormones can really mess with your temperature regulation. I've been a hot mess (literally) all week.

@dragonfaerie sorry for being MIA...we got our BFN and left a few days later to visit my parents in Florida. AF started while we have been away and so we will have to wait until April for our next round. Part of me is grateful for the break to clear my head and get things ready for round 2. Looks like a few of us are looking at some spring embies!

I also got AF today as well. Not sure what our next steps will be since we were only able to freeze one embryo. I have called my doctor's office so we can discuss if I still need to take the blood test on Monday. Pretty bummed out today and will start focusing on our next steps tomorrow.
dragonfaerie I think it was good for us now to know - hope you're feeling that way too. I've been telling my DH that if we do get a BFP I want to call to see if I can request the gender for just the one they implanted. I really want to know... I just didn't want to pick!

the more I go back and forth between wanting to know right away and not, I just cant decide. I think we may find out after we know everything worked. Then we will at least have something just the 2 of us know for a little while. Sometimes with this whole process and everyone knowing your business, it takes some of the magic out of knowing something just between the 2 of you. Our families are so supportive but it's not like we are going to be able to surprise everyone with the news so this could be something just the 2 of us know until it is officially confirmed on the ultrasound.

Hi Ladies..I had my FET yesterday...100% of the cells survived the freeze/thaw and it was already expanding and starting to hatch when they put it back in. Last week my lining was around 9mm when it was checked for me to start PIO...I have been taking 1mL of PIO every night since Thursday and every 3 nights I take 0.2cc of del estrogen. My husband has become a pro at giving me shots (all the stims I did myself) I def think I prefer to PIO to the suppositories and how gross they make you feel. I go in for my beta 13dp5dfet..here's hoping!!!!

@Griffin5413 I totally understand what you mean. We told everyone so we would have support, but then you lose that "surprise" factor. I think that's a great idea to keep the gender to yourself for a bit and then you can do a big reveal.

Hi Ladies – I’ve been traveling for work, so just getting caught back up with everyone.
@alexiskiriluk I stared estrace last week and then will start progesterone around the 10th with my FET on the 15th. I opted for doing suppositories for both vs the shots.
@dragonfaerie @Griffin5413 our RE doesn’t request the gender. At first we thought it would be cool to know, but now that we’re actually at that point, we’re really glad we don’t know.

@MelD17011 How interesting! We always figured it would be a given that they'd know. I think what we decided to do was if we have several embabies that are good for transfer, then we won't request to know, but if we only have one choice, then we'll find out in advance. I'll probably break down and ask anyway!
