What do you think of the following names? We have a son, Dane Leo, and a daughter, Lacy Georgia. Last name begins with a P.
Adrian (named after Grandma Adele, but hubby would prefer it as a middle name)
Bartlett (named after Grandpa Bill)
Shepherd / "Shep" (named after Grandpa Sam)
Landon (a name we sorta like)
Trey (means third, since this would be our third & final kid)
Feeling stuck here. All ideas welcome!
Re: Boy Name Vote
I do like Trey as long as it isn't spelled like Spanish 3..Tres. I know 2 boys named Tres. One of them his name isn't really Tres, but that's what he goes by because he is the 3rd boy in his family to have a specific name. The other isn't a three at all, not the 3rd kid, nothing connecting him to the number 3 other than his real name being 3 in Spanish.. Totally just my opinion, but it makes me gag spelled like Tres.
Shepherd makes me think of the Bible, and sheep. The other three I have personal connections to that cause me to not like them for my own children, so I'll leave me opinion off of those.
I do like Landon, Trey, and Bartlett though. In that order. I'm interested in prospective middle names you have thought about. Also like Trey since your other 2 children have short names, flows nicely.
P.s. I LOVE the name Georgia

Bartlett and Shepard are really trying pretty hard as first names. I take it these are Bill and Sam's surnames? Surnames are super trendy anyhow BUT these two really are a stretch. Plus I dislike the nn Bart and Shepard just reminds me of flocks of sheep.
Trey I don't mind as a nn but don't love it as a give. Landon seems to pair with the others best.
Suggesting:
Trent
Bennett
Spencer
Lincoln
Of your list I like Landon the best. It flows well with your other children
And I LOVE Lacy. Adding it to my list!
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
Trey would be my pick by default
Bartlett is a bit much, but would make a great middle name if it's to honor a family member. Same with Shepherd.
Landon is not my style, I don't see the appeal.
Trey is silly... and so is you potential reason for using it. Can you imagine your son explaining that in the future? "Well my older siblings are named such and such, and I'm Trey because I was the third kid." No. You can do better than that.
Either Adrian Bartlett or Adrian Shepherd.

Bartlett and Shepard in the MN spot only
Trey should only be used as a NN, specifically if the child is a III.
