We found out today that we are having our 3rd boy! Woohoo! Now for the tricky naming situation...I have a super common name so I really like naming my children nice-sounding, REAL easily spelled and pronounced UNCOMMON names.
Our other two boys have very uncommon to moderately uncommon names. (The first's name wasn't even in the top thousand names when we named him---just met another boy with his name a few weeks ago for the very first time. Second boy is slightly more commonly named. His name was in the 200-300 range in the top thousand names. I have met a couple other boys with his name--maybe 2 or 3).
Here are the rules: Cannot start with O, W, R, C, or K. Cannot end in "ley".
Basically, hit me with names you have heard of and thought "That could be cool but I probably wouldn't name my kid that."...Because those are the names I probably WOULD name my kid. hahaha.

You should check out the SS lists from the 1920s-1940s, there are some great old names.
