May 2016 Twin/Multiple Moms

Hey there! I have searched and searched for a May2016 mom group for multiples and was not successful. I just wanted to have a a group to talk to that were going through the same things I am. I have a very great group on another thread but being as I am getting closer to the half way point in my pregnancy after IF I want to have moms that are in my shoes  

How old are you : I am 30 

Natural or with Help: I am pregnant through IVF/ICSI Fresh

How many/kind/gender: DIDI twins boy/girl

How many weeks gestation? I am currently 17 weeks 

Possible Due Dates?: May 10th---May 31st (we find out solidish due date the 29th of Dec)

Worries: Just that they are healthy and happy and that round lig. pain is no darn joke with twins....

Mono-Di twins, POSSIBLY girls - had an ultrasound Thursday and tech said she thinks girls bc she couldn't see boy parts. Had another ultrasound at a different clinic yesterday and this tech also guessed girls saying she couldn't see boy parts. But not announcing til after we know for sure at our anatomy scan in 2 weeks.

We will be 17 weeks tomorrow

Possible due dates: based on LMP June 1st, but OB will not let them past 36 weeks (May 4)

Worries: TTTS bc they share a placenta. can happen at any point during pregnancy, onset is rapid with severe consequences. Hoping and praying like crazy for a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery. Please keep us in your prayers!!!!

Natural or with Help: IVF, pregnant from 1st FET cycle, single embryo.

How many/kind/gender: mono-di identical twin girls

How many weeks gestation? 16 weeks 3 days. Possible due dates: full term as of may 13, but they told me not to make any plans after april.

TTTS also, as well as getting 2 infants into daycare, buying 2 of everything, and being able to handle two babies at the same time. Also worry about it putting strain on our marriage, and worry about going into labor super early.

It would be fun to have a multiples check-in on the May board. Will you head that up Knottie24173360?? Long ago someone else posted a little check-in of some sort but I haven't seen anything else since. There's not much action on the Parenting-Multiples board either.

How old are you : I am 36 (and 10 months)

Natural or with Help: Natural.
Took about 18 months of trying though. I was just about to throw in the towel and move on when....
We also have an 8 year old boy and 5 year old daughter.

How many weeks gestation? I am currently 19 weeks

Possible Due Dates?: May 13th

Worries: Fortunately with all the blood tests and sonograms the babies are looking perfect and that's eased my mind. I'm hoping I can have a vaginal birth so I don't have to go through recovery from surgery. I'm hoping my Crohn's disease doesn't flare after delivery (had problems when my other two kids were babies). I'm hoping....I can handle the sleepless nights with newborns!

Natural or with help: natural, total shock (I also have an 18 month old son)

How many/ what kind/ gender: di di twins, gender scan is Jan 19th

How many weeks gestation: 17

Possible due date: may 14-28th

Worries: mostly financial, the babies have their own placentas and sacks so I feel confident there. I run a daycare out of my home and I don't earn much, I'm worried about being able to do it with new twins plus my son and the two kids I watch. I'm also worried about the fact that we need to buy a new vehicle before May because three car seats won't fit in my PT Cruiser.

How many/kind/gender: DIDI Girl/girl

How many weeks gestation? 21 and some change

Possible Due Dates?: May 2nd is 40 weeks so anywhere in April would be about right.

Worries: that they are growing well, healthy, not born too early, and how the handle the logistics of 2 babies at once.
