TWW---Beta week of 12/28

Hi everyone!

This thread hasn't been started yet so I figured I may as well. I had my 3rd IUI last Friday (12/18) and my beta is scheduled for New Years Day, lucky me! I was taking 5mg of Letrozole CD 4-8 and had definitely one mature follicle, possibly two. I took Ovidrel and IUI 36 hours later. Today I started endometrin which I will be on until beta day.

Please feel free to tell us a bit about yourself and this cycle. GL and FX for many BFPs this time around

Thank you for starting this thread! I will join here

My first beta will be on December 30th, that will be 15dp5dt (I had an frozen embryo transfer). It is a little late for a first beta but that is because we are away for the holidays. I will be testing with a pee stick on the 26th as my nurse suggested, but I may try and test before... I am not sure yet, just scared of seeing that white test even if it is early, I have seen enough white tests for seven lifetimes, as I am sure all of you can understand.

I hope this cycle is the good one, because December 28 will mark our four year anniversary of TTC, and I would rather not reach that and still not be pregnant.

Good luck to all of us, hopefully we get a lot of Christmas and New Year's miracles.

Hi ladies! I will be testing at home NYE. I believe I'm 4dpo but according to Fertility Friend I'm only 3dpo. My temp didn't rise the following day after i o'd. It took two days. This is my first month charting. I read that it may have taken my progesterone levels a little before rising. Either one of you ladies have any experience with this?

I never charted because it's actually not necessary so I cannot help with that, but are you taking progesterone suppositories or injections? Is that why you ask?

I had to start taking progesterone 6 days before my frozen embryo transfer, so yes it takes a little while for levels to rise. Sorry I could not help more.

@alyeena no my doc doesn't have me on progesterone suppositories or injections. I started charting because i find how our bodies respond to hormone levels very interesting (after reading TCOYF). I ask because if my temps are acurate and i indeed did O 3 days ago, then it was 1 day after the second IUI and since we use frozen sperm, I'm afraid that the sperm may not have made it to O. But i did have O pains the day before my temps say that i ovulated
..so I'm just confused.

Just looking for some guidance :-) Trying not to get my hopes down just yet. Thanks for your response.

@vnegron87  Oh then sorry I can't help you, like I said I know nothing about charting. But maybe if you post about it in the Trying to get pregnant forums? I know there are a lot of ladies there who are literally experts on charting, maybe they can help

@vnegron87 I know that there is such a thing as a slow rise for charting. I charted my first IUI cycle (I had been charting since February) and I realized that my temp didn't rise until the day after my IUI. I was freaking out that it was too late. After that cycle I stopped temping since it was stressing me out. Honestly, I would trust the bloodwork over your temps. I did post about this earlier and that's what people told me as well.

I went for my IUI on 12/14 and will have my beta on 12/28. One week down, one to go (and it's killing me)! I would've loved to have a BFP on Christmas Day but I don't think I'm going to even POAS this time. We'll see if I can resist. This time my numbers were better; one follicle at 21 and one at 25 and my E2 level was higher this time. I've read lots of posts where ladies have more follicles and I start to worry that I don't have enough. I know it only takes one so here's hoping this is the time. Thankfully, after reading posts/horror stories about progesterone suppositories, my level was ok and I don't had to be supplemented.

@erica0901 ok, at least it has happened before and there is a chance that its a slow rise. My doc doesnt check bloodwork except for day 3, before starting a second round of meds in one cycle or if i get a BFP :-( charting really is the only way for me to learn and see how my body os reacting to everything. I'm not stressing too much, just curious. Thanks for that info :-)

Had my follicle scan the 14th and used trigger shot.  If I go by the trigger shot I'm 7dpo but FF says I'm only 5dpo according to temps.  RE has me testing the 30th and call if I get a BFP to come in for bloodwork.  FX for everyone testing next week

Hi, my beta is 12/30 I'm really hoping for the best I did my FET 12/21 I think I'm poas this Saturday . I'm kinda wondering is anyone having any symptoms?

@vnegron87 before you check out ttgp board, what meds are you on? For many women the fertility meds (including trigger) will skew your temps, making it unreliable or with no noticeable shift of .2 degree sustained increase. You may have to test for several months in combination with other symptoms (pain, cervical position) to identify ovulation times. Unfortunately it's a bit of a crapshoot for us IFers.

Today I am 8dp5dt. I did test yesterday because I have zero patience. And it came positive!! But I am not getting my hopes up until I have my Beta on the 28th! FX a million times for all of you!

I am 8dp5dt as well, I gave in and tested three days ago and it came clearly positive, every morning now I test and the line is still there
Also waiting for my beta on the 30th before I get my hopes up too much, and won't be telling people until we hear a hearthbeat and all is going well.

@joyful38 we are on the same cycle lol! Congratulations!

@hbamama2b I was on 2 rounds of clomid this cycle (100 then 150) and ovidrel.  I had what I think is a clear shift in temp, just a day later than expected.  Here is my chart if you wanted to take a look at it (https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/612129 ).  Thanks for the info, I assume at this point everything that I do (charting, OPKs, HPTs) are all a crap shoot since PCOS screws up my hormones drastically lol.  Just trying to familiarize myself with my body a little more...

@sapphire357 no symptoms that I could tell here...just been really tired...but it's the holiday season and i'm still rushing to finish packing gifts, get meals in order and baking some cookies...so I don't think I could attribute the tiredness to anything other than overworking (even though in the back of my mind I want to think it's because of other reasons lol).

How's the TWW been for you ladies?

Prior to this cycle I had 5 unsuccessful IUIs. And was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (thyroid auto-immune disease).

Just had my first ET yesterday and I go for my Beta test on New Years Eve. Really praying this is our time!

FX for all of you ladies and let's hope this next week flies by!

Hope everyone is doing well. This afternoon I noticed some pink spotting that hasn't come back since. Of course I am running through all of the possible situations and googling everything. Today is 6DPO, I need to be set straight and told it could really be anything or nothing at all. This is going to be another long week for me. Thanks for hearing me vent and Merry Christmas to those celebrating!!

Thanks @vnegron87 , had a bit more light pink spotting this morning as well. I am wondering if it could be due to the endometrin...I don't wanna get my hopes up about IB.

Hi guys I jus Poas as I said I would and it's a Bfn. I'm a little depress but at least I won't have any expectation when I go for beta 12/30. The last time when I did a fresh cycle I tested the same time 5dp5dt and it was a bfp so I guess I'm a little doubtful that this result will Change.

@erica 0901. The last time I had a spotting was when I know for sure i was pregnant and it was a dark brownish color Which was in August But I was still worried as it didn't stop until I miscarried at 6 weeks. So I know how worried you might be but keep the faith and stay on your meds don't miss a day

@erica0901 ive been spotting for a couple days now too but I've still had positive tests.. I'm 11dp5dt. I'm still worried about it as well waiting and waiting for my beta. I've googled everything in the world and everything is just telling me it's implantation bleeding. FX a million times for you!

Tomorrow starts off our testing week! How is everyone feeling? I'm having some weird stomach issues going on, but I keep telling myself it could be the endometrin. Is anyone testing early? My beta is 1/1 (14dpiui), but I may cave on 12/31 (13dpiui) not sure yet...GL and FX for everyone

I am doing good! No symptoms yet, except for those cause progesterone and estrogen of course. But nothing bad!
I am now 12dp5dfet and with my last pregnancy I started spotting on 9dp5dt and no bleeding now I kept testing everyday and the line keeps getting darker and darker so that is good too.
My first beta is on the 30th so still a few days away, no idea when I will have my second since the clinic is closed until January 4th (not too happy about that, they close too long I think, from dec.15 to jan.4) but I will see.

I can't wait until I get my ultrasounds, I really really hope I get to hear a heartbeat this time!

@Erica0901 I caved in and tested early because I could not wait, there is nothing wrong with that! Crossing my fingers for you, I really hope you get that positive!!!

Haven't tested yet.  My temps are still up but they don't usually start to drop until day before or day of AF.  I noticed yesterday that my nipples are a purple color.  Anyone else have anything like this?

Hey ladies, count down begins...I'll be testing on Thursday. I've been extremely exhausted and have had stomach aches for the past couple of days. Just feeling really out of it.

Hey ladies! I'm glad there is a thread for this, so we can all stress together!! I had my FET on 12/22 and beta scheduled for 1/2 as my clinic is closed on 1/1 (10dpt, when they usually do them). I got two shots of HCG, one on 12/18 and the other the evening of the transfer, so I'm out of luck for a hpt. Good luck and baby dust to all!! Come on BFPs!!!!!

Just had my blood work done now the dreadful wait until they call.....looks like I'll be deep cleaning our home today. Come on BFP.....big money....big money!!!!
