I'm a SAHM with a 4 yr old and 6 yr old. My morning is spent getting them to school (4 yr old in preschool m-th mornings). I wish I could say I do something else but I don't. I had just decided what I wanted to do for part time work and was going to start on a masters when I found I was pregnant so I've put that on hold for now.
Healthcare recruiter! Work from home. Love my job! I recruit healthcare professionals for dialysis (less than 9% of all nurses in the US are trained in dialysis).
I used to be a manager and I had no life! Lol now I have a life! Although... Maybe someday not now, with baby number one (after baby two) I might be able to be a stay at home mom!
I am a pseudo-librarian ( I do the same stuff most librarians do, but I don't have the official MLS degree). Our district is huge on early literacy and children/family services, so it'll be a great resource once LO comes. Plus, I've already informed DH that he gets to go to story time with LO when I have to work a weekend!
Oh hey! I'm an LSP at an Allstate agency too. How funny. I'm thinking about getting into substitute teaching after this baby is born -- so I'll have more time to be at home with baby but still be able to work. We'll see.
I'm in the process of training my replacement as a part time in-home ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapist. When I was working full-time, I was an associate behavior analyst and program coordinator at an inclusive preschool for kids with autism to learn alongside their typically developing peers. Starting in January, however, I will be a SAHM for awhile.
I'm a teacher, but I took this year off to help my middle child who has some learning problems. Got pregnant, (oops,) so it looks like I'll have to take the next couple of years off also.
Compliance Coordinator within a property management company. We have low income housing and I get to help make sure every understands and follows all the rules and regs that go along with tax credit and HUD housing. Yes, I am a nerd that likes paperwork.
Bartender. I love it the money is great and the environment is fun! I wana keep doing it after I have the baby but we will see. My husband wants me to stay at home but I know me and I'd go stir crazy. We will see I guess
SAHM but I did work as an admin assistant for years before my department was moved to our corporate office. It just worked out that I was able to stay home. I volunteer a lot of my daughter's school and at our local library.
2 angel babies to watch over us- bfp 3/16/13, c/p 3/27/13- bfp 6/27/13, c/p confirmed 7/4/13- We will always carry you in our hearts
I was an esthetician aka skin care specialist but I quit cause I was already out due to HG and I was gonna leave by 6 months so I said screw it I'll just leave now. Now I'm a homemaker soon to be SAHM in June!
SAHM here too. I used to be an Executive Assistant (&PA to the directors)t right up to when I had DD we moved and I have been able to stay off. I know I am lucky to be able to but man I miss the work place, the lunch where you can just sit in quietness and talking to people other than a 13 month old.
I work in experimental biological science. I would love to be a SAHM once this baby comes but DH doesn't like having the responsibility of everything falling on him monetarily. Plus, bio science isn't one of those fields you can leave and join back in after a few years because it's constantly changing so...
I'm an admnistrator at a non-profit public health research organization. I manage grants, contracts, and budgets and oversee all administrative functions for a program of roughly 35 researchers. I love my job and I love working for a good cause!
I do occupational therapy at a hospital PRN (as needed) so about 2-3 days a week and I SAH with my toddler the rest of the time. It's a perfect combo of working and SAH but I think once we have two it will be harder to work.
I work as a mental health and substance use therapist. I see everything from children to teens to adults on an outpatient basis. I also work specifically with opiate dependent clients on a medication assisted treatment program. Love what I do and will continue doing it even when baby comes.
I've been sahm since 2010. Before that I was a manager and did just about everything in a mom and pop pizza joint back home. We FINALLY move back home in Feb, I'm hoping to go back part time til baby #3 is born and then after baby who knows when I'll go back, maybe when winter rolls around. Summer in a pizza place is miserable!
For the last 4 years I've been doing research and analysis part time as a contractor for an online based company, as well as running my own small sewing business. I'm home with our two (soon to be three) kids full time also, so I stay busy!
I'm a critical care physician in the pediatric and cardiac intensive care units at a children's hospital. Hope my kids (and yours!) never need our ICU services!
Ice skating instructor and costume designer/seamstress. For now.... I've been getting crap for still being on the ice and I'm only (almost) 16 weeks along. I love what I do, and I'm not ready to stop!
I'm a Disaster Recovery Manager currently doing long-term recovery and resilience by administering federal grant funds. Love love love my job and my field, but would be a SAHM as long as possible if we could afford it.
I'm a case manager for Felony Drug Court. So I help drug addicts get the treatment they need to get clean and out of the criminal system. I'm in court every week so we can address relapse or further criminal activity if it happens and give kudos to the ones who are doing well.
I'm a forensic biologist. I do the DNA stuff seen (mostly inaccurately) on shows like CSI. I don't wear a push up bra or fishnet stockings while I do it though. Or wear tons of makeup.
Re: What does everyone do for a living?
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
