I've been doing CrossFit for about 5 years now and I have no real plans of stopping. My H is very worried about me, though, because he knows I have a tendency to push it a little too hard. I just told my coach even though I was hesitant. His wife recently had a baby so he'll know how to coach me through it and how to keep me from going over the top. A friend passed along these articles that might help:
My hubby is a crossfit coach and says there is no reason to quit! He did say however to scale back the intensity, no maxing out and avoid any lifts that may put your belly in the way! I'm taking it easy until I get to my second trimester, I've been doing some hot yoga and low intensity strength training. I'd be anxious to share WODs and compare notes
I am back at crossfit after a year break and what do ya know, 2 weeks in and I find out I am pregnant somewhat unexpectedly. I also just started running 6 months ago and run half marathons now. I haven't run yet since finding out because I have been too nauseous but I need to get that under control again because I have a run in 9 weeks. And I'm just doing Lowe weight at crossfit.

Yes, I have continued crossfitting so far.. but I have been taking it super easy (at least until the second trimester). I make sure to slow down when my heart rate gets up too high, and I have been doing lighter weights. I have been doing step ups instead of box jumps, just to cut down on the impact. I actually feel less nauseous after crossfit!
