Has anyone's LO gotten thrush? We went to the doctor today because Sadie has a cold and we are flying to FL on Wednesday and while we were there the doctor discovered she has thrush she said it's fairly common and gave us a prescription, but it still makes me nervous...anyone have any advice or knowledge to share?

I'm sorry you're going through this I hope your little one feels better. I have no advice but I know if you search in th search tab, you can find previous posts about this. I had ductal thrush and my LO did not catch it luckily. I was on oral medication for 30 days and it did not go away, then I started applying grape fruit seed extract to my nipples every couple hours and within 2 days it was sooo much better and healed completely within 2 weeks! the grape fruit seed oil can also be used inside babys mouth, it is bitter tasting so dilute it with water and swab around LO's mouth. Works way better than nystatin. I wish I would have been told about the GSE before I wasted 30 days taking pointless medication and suffering.
