Update: I had an early ultrasound yesterday and they found what looks like a yolk sac in the right place and hcg levels did go up. Doctor still wants me to continue blood work every two days for now. Thank you for the kind support ladies.
Hi ladies congrats on your BFP. I'm 4 weeks and 5 days according to my lmp. I had an ectopic pregnancy two months ago and also lost my right tube. I didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly dh and i are overjoyed but i am a nervouse wreck because my doctor said it is recommended that patients wait at least 2 to 3 cycles before getting pregnant. I had the mirena iud when i got pregnat with my etopic and according to dr google lol most pregnacies with an iud are ectopic. I had two blood work done last week at 4w 1d and hcg was 667 and another 2 days later and levels were 1600 my doctor said things look normal so far but will not have answers untill my sono on Tuesday. Just wanted to know if any of you ladies has experienced this before.
Re: Recent ectopic pregnancy (UPDATE)
I had an ectopic rupture on August 28th 2012. My left tube and ovary were removed.
My period returned October 1st and I got pregnant that cycle. I was monitored closely to make sure baby made it safely to my uterus.
My pregnancy was uneventful and my son was born healthy at 41 weeks. Prayers that you have the same outcome!
It sounds like your levels are doubling beautifully. Good luck at your scan.
