HSG- bleeding started after 2 days

Hi ladies, i would really appreciate if you share your post-HSG experiences with me. I had my HSG test on Thursday morning and everything went pretty well. No blocked tubes etc. Test was very quick and mostly painless. I had spotting/light bleeding for 3hours or so and it turned to brown spotting and completely stopped. Light bleeding started again on Friday night and it still goes on today. It is light bleeding but doesnot look like menstral bleeding, very thin light red bleeding as if there is a cut somewhere. I couldnot stop worrying and I called the doctor , on-call dr. asked me to watch and call them back if it continues until Tuesday. Do you think this is all normal? I do not have cramps or abdominal pain.
Could you please let me know if you have any insights?

I had spotting for 2 days after. They poke around so much in there! It stopped after that though. I know it's happened to a couple friends of mine as well! i wouldn't worry. If it continues just check in with your doctor

I had some spotting for a couple days as well. If something doesn't feel right or if gets heavier I would call again. We know our bodies the best. All in all I think it's normal.

Thank you very much @ColeM91 and @joyful38 for replying. I was worried because it had stopped and started again after more than 24 hrs. It s good to know that it could happen in normal conditions.

While I didn't experience any spotting after , I was warned by the nurse that it could happen ! So yes , probably normal !!

Thanks @mskeenan , it is the fourth day and still spotting. It might be my ovulation period now but i do not want to have sex while spotting. So it adds extra stress actually. There is not much to do at this point, we ll wait and see.

Yah @ZoeFer ugh it's a waiting game I know . Spotting really sucks !!
