We have tried just about everything on DD (she is almost 2) & my favorites are California Baby & The Honest Company.
Samesies. Also Burt's Bees. I think it all depends on how sensitive your baby's skin is, what smells you prefer, how important natural ingredients are to you and what your price point is.
Johnson & Johnson dried my son's skin out badly and made him get crazy acne even after his newborn acne was gone. Aveeno products are wonderful, especially the eczema cream. Honestly, we've been using the Neutrogena Rain Bath (the orange one) since he was about six months old. It's gentle on his skin and smells wonderful.
We love Burts Bee's Calming products. DD had super dry skin and it was the only thing that seemed to help. Regular J&J dried her skin out. Plus is smells delicious. We also use the Johnson & Johnson Nighttime bubble bath. I love the carter's just for you bath towels at target. We tried Aden and Anais and Circo ones but these have held up the best.
I wasn't a huge fan of the Honest orangesicle scent and the honest soap/shampoo seemed too sudsy for us. I'm not sure how to explain it but it took forever to rinse off bodies and little washing rags. Maybe we were using too much?

Burt's Bees all the way. It smells so good! DS has mild excema, and the BB is really gentle. It goes on sale often enough at our grocery store that we can just stock up and not spend an arm and a leg.
Johnson & Johnson and Aveeno are the same company; Burts Bees is not part of the J&J family (it's part of the Clorox co.) My father in law works for J&J and recommends Aveeno for more sensitive skin. We plan on trying out J&J to start with, but will move to Aceeno if baby's skin doesn't like J&J.
The aveeno excema lotion has been a life saver for DS this winter. For everything else (soap, non-winter lotion, sunscreen) we use a brand called Shaklee. It's great for sensitive skin and they are incredibly conscious of their ingredients, both environmentally and for safety. I have a family member who sells it and I use their cleaning products, vitamins and laundry detergent as well.
Also don't forget to try it out on your skin! You'll be touching it too, so if it gives YOU a rash, it won't work. Aveeno products universally make me break out in hives, and j&j dries out *my* skin. We've gotten some samplers for a variety of options, and we'll probably see what ends up working - for every one.
If you want all natural , try DNA miracles , only available on shop.com/socialmall. Haven't used it myself since this is my first , but friends have loved it..can't want to use it on my lil one!!
We found that the J&J scented lotion and wash was too harsh for newborn skin and preferred Aveeno products. Now that she's a toddler, though, I use them interchangeably. I received a bunch of Mustella products as gifts, but the scent is too strong for me.
We never used either brand, only after swim lessons because all they have in their showers is J&J stuff. Neither brand gets great ratings on EWG if you care about that stuff. We opted for Ava Anderson when DD was an infant and now use Honest. I'm not crazy about the way Honest smells, some people love it, but it's like a vanilla orange scent, which smells good but not on hair or skin, but they have the best detangler so we use it despite the smell. Still trying to decide what brand to use on DS - I might go back to Ava, but you can only get it online and it's not super convenient.
@SkiChic626 - Honest Company just came out with new scents so it might be worth a try, if it's the scent you don't like.
I was given aveeno at my shower so we did use that originally but then switched over to honest company. I loved the smell of the original scent aveeno but won't go back to using it because of the chemicals. I wish they would get rid of harsh chemicals so I could use it again!
I have read all the comments my question is the aveeno soap or body have stuff for eczema. Or the lotions the best. It has seem I have it because of preggers. I have it on my arms and neck looking for the best solution.

Are you wanting a product recommendation for you to use now on your skin? I have been using Egyptian Magic. It's on all natural and a heavy duty moisturizer, but also light enough to use on your face. I had a bad outbreak of eczema on my hands a few weeks back and used that throughout the day as well as Aquaphor (the one that comes in a tub) before bed and immediately after showering. It completely resolved in a week. Hope that helps!!!

My midwife suggested Alba Very Emollient lotion to help with my mild excema. It works wonders! You can get it at Target and at health food stores.
