Have your kids predicted or sensed your pregnancy?

On Friday morning, the day I missed my period, my son (5) crawled into bed with me and my husband, and immediately asked if he could have a baby sister. I found out Sunday I am pregnant. Hours after that positive test, my daughter (10) asked if we could have a baby sister! I told her I didn't know. They have both been taking about a baby sister all week. My son even told his teachers and friends at school that I am having a baby. But we haven't told the kids yet! It's very weird, this came totally out of nowhere, and they didn't get the idea from one another.
Wondering if anyone else got the hint that they were pregnant from their kids, and if they were right about the gender.

  • My mom made Thanksgiving placemats with my daughters a few weeks before Thanksgiving. she asked them what they were thankful for, and one thing my 3 year old said was "My baby brother." (She doesn't have a baby brother) I got my BFP about 2 weeks later. So funny! She has talked about a baby brother a few times since. We haven't told her I'm pregnant yet. We'll see in a few months if she is right about the baby being a boy!

  • My eldest has been asking about his sister a lot the past few weeks and keeps talking about babies in my tummy. It's not a topic that's really come up before and the timing is funny.

  • My son told me after I found out that God told him he was going to give me a baby. The day changes, thanks to 4 year old understanding of time, but it's weird.

  • My 1 year old daughter who has been very anti-cuddle has started cuddling all the time with me. She napped in my lap today and that never happens. She doesn't want to leave my side.
  • My 3 year old and I were talking about him having a baby brother or sister someday (about a week before bfp) and he seemed pretty convinced he would have a baby sister. I kind of hope he's right! Lol
I finally figured out the ticker thing! (I was so excited I thought I'd tell you all) LOL

  • My son said he wished he had a baby this morning but it's not the first time

  • My two year old has been glued to my since last Thursday. She is unusual very independent so I that it ment I had beef working to much between my two jobs right now. Got a positive test last Saturday.
  • My 1 year old daughter screams when I put her down now. She has never been very cuddly (wouldn't even let us swaddle in the hospital) and now she constantly wants me holding her or letting her sit in my lap.
  • My 10 1/2 month has been so clingy with me over the last week. DH commented last night that DS isn't like this during the day with him, that he will play by himself for long periods of time. So, who knows!

  • My 5 year old DD came up to me and looked at my stomach and asked if there was a baby in there. At the time I told her "not that I know of". I took a test two days later and confirmed I was pregnant. We told her this last weekend and I thought she was going to loose her voice she was screaming so much from excitement.
  • My son just started separation anxiety (he's 13 months). This is completely new to him! I don't know if it's just his age or if he sense something.
  • My 3y/o daughter keeps saying,"There's a baby in my Mommy's tummy." We haven't told her yet. We suspect she's picking up cues from us, somehow.
