Clavulin for infection X-Post

Our LO is 5 weeks and has been diagnosed with an ear infection, an upper respiratory infection, and a bronchial infection after we all thought she just had the common cold (midwife and GP included). These gifts are from our oldest who brings home every disease known to mankind. Our doctor prescribed Clavulin, which has diarrhea as a side effect. Has anyone had to put their LO's on this medication? Her treatment is for 10 days. We've had one bout of diarrhea, but one more an I'm off to the emerg. Is this common from the antibiotic? Am I overreacting?
